What in the heck happened in Kent, OH tonight. Bowling Green looked like Buffalo. As the GPS software says ,RECALCULATING. Man did the Falcons look good

It would be good if Hankerson became another scoring option off of the bench. Especially someone who can make threes.

Going into that game I thought Ball State was probably the 2nd best team in the MAC. Toledo had the great W/L record, but just had not been tested itself like a 4 loss Cardinals team had. Ball State is scary, I think they are playing close to the level Buffalo was last season right now. I know Toledo fans are in panic mode right now, but I do not think they need to be. I really think there is a substantial drop between the top 3 teams in the MAC and the 4th best team in the MAC. If I was a betting man, Id say Buffalo, BSU, and Toledo will be locked into the top 3 seeds. No need to panic Toledo fans, its still a great team.

One thing that is seems interesting from recent results and trends, that 4th seed could be a wide open affair now for many teams.

I hate to get too carried away from one game, but I think NIU can be in the mix for a 4 seed if things fall right and NIU can get a few more big road wins. It is there for the taking. Massive game Tuesday, Ill say Huskies open as 2 point road dogs. I think this season 9 wins puts you in the mix for a 4 seed and 10 wins gives you a very very good shot at it. Right now, Id project the Huskies at 9-9

Oh honestly I dont think NIU is some world beater. I just mainly meant the extreme top heaviness is going to allow possibly a 9-9 or 10-8 team as a 4. But probably early for that too hah

Great win. He was going to redshirt. Played well. James is really playing well right now Keep it rolling!

He played great. I think NIU hoops has a small window right now with a lot of guys graduating out after this year and the possibility that German might not be around for his senior season. But he has a really great presence and awareness on the floor and plays aggressive defense.

Nice road win, but looking at the way Ohio shot at home from the free throw line isn't going to happen too often. Ohio went just 11-of-25 (44 percent) from the free-throw line while NIU was 13-of-17 (76.5 percent) from the stripe. Any road win is good, but 44% from the free throw line is bad for a grade school team.
