Just got an email from the NAS, telling me to stay away from the FAU game due to "inclement weather."

WTF?

Was it in general , or you specifically should stay away?

They were having an UAB NAS party for tomorrow night's game.

That was what was canceled due to inclement weather.

Tied into the game and Alumni night of course.

Said it would be rescheduled to a later date.

Didn't know that all hell was breaking loose tomorrow night but I may have missed the memo.

It seems Paul Bryant Jr is back up to his antics to destroy our athletics program!

I heard he's been working with Ben Franklin's great great great grandson on a weather manipulation machine to ensure all outdoor UAB events are a safety hazard.

I heard the exact same thing! Where do you buy your aluminum foil? I run through it pretty quick since I have a big head.

It is/was an outside event, and I assume they did not want it to be ruined by rain. This could have been worded a bit better.

"Due to the possibility of inclement weather, the UAB Men's Basketball Alumni Night that was scheduled to be held in Blazer Pride Plaza outside the UAB Collat School of Business on Thursday, January 3, 2019 is being postponed.

The UAB National Alumni Society plans to reschedule the event for a later date.

Be sure to stay tuned for a future date.

And here I was thinking they were forecasting a snowflake.

The weather has actually been a problem recently. My house flooded last Friday and I'm basically homeless for the next few months. Another neighbor had a landslide damage their home and yard. Glen Iris got messed up pretty hard.

Our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused, but tonight's Alumni Night was supposed to be an outdoor event. However, due to all of the predictions of rain, including some that has been heavy, we felt it was necessary to postpone this event.

We are looking forward to rescheduling this event so we can enjoy the new Blazer Pride Plaza outside the UAB Collat School of Business.

Keep an eye out for a new date and we hope you make plans to join us in the Plaza to cheer on the Blazers!
