Notre Dame proves to be extremely overrated once again. Also I knew Bama would crush OU. Oklahoma’s defense has had more holes than Swiss cheese all year. They can score but they don’t stop anyone.

Read somewhere that’s 8 major (“BCS”) bowl losses in a row for ND and by an average of 20 pts. Considering their recruiting classes nearly always rank in the top 10, that’s a stunning record of failure. And we think we have bowl problems! Couldn’t be happier for ND. COGS

At what point do they stop getting the benefit of the doubt just based on their hype?

I dont think it's so much what Notre Dame isnt , but what Alabama and Clemson are. Alabama and Clemson are essentially low level professional teams. Lord knows how much they pay their players and other benefits. The gap now between Alabama and a Notre Dame is probably as big as Notre Dame to NIU. It's just a different world now when you are talking about those top 2 or 3 programs

Pay their players! WTF have you based this on? Maybe it is better coaching, facilities and exposure. I try to understand MD but he is out of control. Maybe the Mods need to take a long look and suspend him for awhile.

It goes on ALL on the time. Look at the whole USC debacle with giving players houses. There is no incentive to play by the rules anymore. There is just too much money involved now. That much money corrupts

There's definitely money under the table for a bunch of those big programs.

On a lighter note NIU>BYU>Wisconsin>Iowa>Mississippi State>Texas A&M>LSU>Georgia

RE: Notre Dame/Clemson
Tickets for the championship game are going as low as $150 on stubhub. Doesn't seem like a lot of interest.
