It seemed better when scored a few times early. Another ugly game to say the least. Ugh

Yes, but I consider Michigan State a MUCH better team, just the sheer SIZE of their guys inside made it incredibly difficult.

That's why I said it was better. Butler I thought we could keep it close, I never considered that an option for this game.

3pt shooting will beat you easier and worse than big post players. I definitely think Butler could beat MSU.

Not really any way to compare Butler and MSU. one is a national title contender and one is not. They are worlds different, and the games are worlds different.

Barring unforeseen injuries this conference will be down to 3 teams, Buffalo/Toledo/Ball State. They are developing a large large gap between the rest of the bunch

Tier 1

Buffalo

Tier 2

Ball State
Toledo

Tier 3

Kent State

Tier 4

Central Michigan
Miami-OH
NIU
Ohio
Akron

Tier 5

Bowling Green
Eastern Michigan
Western Michigan

Yeah. It’s Buffalo’s league to lose barring injury.

It’s funny how different people see things. Several have said James played well. I felt he played hard and did well on getting 10 rebounds. He shot horrible making 4-11 field goals and 0-2 free throws.

Yeah, his offense still leaves a lot to be desired, his FT's are UGLY. But I just thought he was battling with some great players with huge size, the one guy looks like a NFL D-lineman with touch!

He played really hard, but, his being undersized was readily apparent. He must have had 4/5 shots completely blocked. Great effort, but, frankly, overmatched.

Lacey James is not small, he may seem skinny because he is all muscle but he is 6’9 and 240 pounds. He went up against Nick Ward who is 6’9, 245 and not all muscle. James also had to go against Xavier Tillman who is 6’9, 245 pounds of muscle.

True.

Call me 03-old but I really think they need to move the college 3-point arch out a bit.

I really question those measurables. Ward was noticeably taller and had no trouble blocking James’ shot.

Agree. It’s either that and/or James’ vertical is <2”.
