With our schedule and the amount of new players next year ....He is gone. I believe if he has a 4-5 win season he will be retained especially has a decent recruiting class this year.
Two P5s and an extended run (3) of apparently tough road games.
If the below is final then....
OOC
Aug. 31 vs Norfolk State Spartans
Sept. 7 @ Virginia Tech
Sap. 21 @ Virginia
Sep. 28 vs East Carolina
Conference USA Games
@ FIU
@Marshall
@MTSU
vs Charlotte
vs FAU
vs WKU
vs UTSA
@UAB
I expect ECU to be substantially better than it was in 2018. Marshall, FAU, and UVA will likely be better. This could be the year we beat Empty Sue.
Otherwise, it is too early to really assess our competition.
As noted, with the new transfers, as well some notable coaching changes, it is far too early to evaluate our own program.
We are almost a complete unknown for 2019.
Further, our Spring game, post TH, has been a non starter as far as being an accurate predictor of upcoming seasons.
We are going in with almost as many questions and unknowns as we did in 2009.
Debates on here should be lively as we move toward August 31, 2019.
