How about BWW in Harborview?
Unfortunately I will be doing family stuff tomorrow. I wonder how many more odu fans we have this side of the river
I'm over here in the WB area as well.

Taylor played with a lot of heart. He played like he belongs in the NFL. The Panthers O-line is horrible. He had no time to throw the ball.

He just wasn't the same after the elbow injury. The OL is horrible and the penalties did him no favor. Both picks were on him. As the field got shorter so did his passing gaps. Between the 20s he was fantastic. He certainly deserves to be in the mix next year.

Panther's radio guys said the second pick was not his fault, the receiver stopped his route and didn't go after the ball. Just their view I guess.

I just considered it a forced and difficult pass to complete.

Wish nothing but the best for TH. Not sure how today’s performance will work out for him (1 TD vs 3 ints, and a few bad throws, Plus the injury). The oline sure didn’t do him any favors, but man it sure was fun watching him again.

RE: Heinicke to get first start on Sunday.
week 16 stat lines:

Taylor Heinicke 33-53 274 yards 1 TD 3 INT 58.2 rating

Philip Rivers 23-37 181 yards 0 TD 2 INT 51.7 rating

Tom Brady 13-24 126 yards 1 TD 2 INT 48.3 rating

Is Taylor Heinicke the GOAT? Yes.

Joking aside, I thought he did a great job and we should all be extremely proud of him for his iron tough attitude today.

I just hope they decide to keep rolling with him next week. The saints look unstoppable but I would love to see him go out and ball. Hopefully his elbow heals up a bit by then

Saints have nothing to play for and I suspect Brees will be watching from the bench. Might actually be a winnable game.

Overall, not a bad or great performance this week. Probably didn't get him a job next year, but I expect he'll get another opportunity.

RE: Heinicke to get first start on Sunday.
So I was at the game yesterday, my take is that Taylor Heinicke is not good enough to take that current Panthers team to a win. But there are only a few QBs that actually could. The O-line is garbage and the WRs are nothing special except for a few players. Defense looked really bad in the 2nd half.

Heinickes problem was in the red zone. He just made to many bad throws. The 3rd INT was not really his fault in my opinion because he had to get it out very quickly and loft it. He overshot funchis a little but Funchis completely gave up on the play, made no effort to catch the ball or didn’t become the defender. He is done for the Panthers. The 1st INT was a bad play design and the ball got tipped but he tried to force things. 2nd INT was a bad throw and all his fault.

But he made some plays with his legs and consistently moved the ball between the 20s. Hopefully he gets another chance against the saints in the last game but Oline is gonna get him killed. That’s one knock on him is that he just takes a beating and it’s gonna be hard for him to stay healthy

He showed a lot of heart and at times real talent. It is just hard for him to sustain that level of play with little supporting cast other than Samuels and McCaffery. When the field got short / more players per sq ft. he struggled. I just hope he continues to grow and develop with the Panthers.

A lot to say. It was a roller coaster ride yesterday. About 20 of us close family and friends there. We were sky high for the game. We had regular field passes and Bobby and Ron talked their way over to the bench and talked to the coaches and owner. Taylor came over and hugged us and was raring to go. We were sky high after the first TD drive and then the O Line collapses and he goes down. Our collective hearts stopped. It was a relief seeing him run to the locker room because we thought it was his knee. He said his knee is injured too but he tore every ligament in his elbow and was in much pain. He talked his way back in and gave it all he had. It hurt taking the snaps and he couldn’t raise the ball as high as he normally does on his throws. In the family and friends reception room we waited for an hour and he was the last to come out. Norv and Scott Turner came over to us and said how tough Taylor was. Christian McCaffery came over to us and said that Taylor is their guy and “there is a lot we have to fix on this team but Taylor is not one of them.” We took Taylor out to dinner and he was in pretty good spirits and was on pain killers and was hopeful to play in New Orleans. He woke up today in tremendous pain and it looks doubtful will play. We will know for sure Wednesday or Thursday. Luckily no other structural damage. They are bringing back Garrett Gilbert in case he can’t go. If he is a go I will be there Sorry for any typos because on a plane.

Dam he can't catch a break and stay healthy. He's tough as nails and hopefully makes a full recovery.
