I have always thought Mike Dunleavy was a crap coach. I think Tulane needs a young coach with ties to the area that can get some solid recruits.

maybe jank can become their coach in waiting and smu nets thunder dan

I don't think Dunleavy is a bad coach. When was the last time Tulane was any good? They last made the NCAA tournament in 1994/95 losing in the second round as members of the Metro Conference and Perry Clark was the coach. Dunleavy more than doubled Tulane's win total last season over his first year (14-17 vs. 6-25). Granted, they're off to a slow start but he has a very young team. The guy needs more than two seasons to build that program up from the ashes.

UCF doesnt scare me, I thought it was dumb to have them preseason favorites. Houston is pretty good, should be top 25 team, I am hoping we can split our games this year.

Yes, by 3-4 points or something like that.

The final score is the greatest secret of them all.

UC moved in CBS Top 25 plus 1 at 24. I think people are starting to take notice that the Bearcats are still a team to recon with. If we can get Mississippi State on the road next weekend, that would be a big win.

Grand Canyon Was only down about six points to Nevada with a minute and a half to go. There’s a joke in there somewhere.

Down 8 with 30 sec to go. Inches away from stealing the ball

Always prefer to be ranked. But, this sets up nicely to go earn some respect by taking down #18 on its home court.

Polls are so stupid. Houston is 8-0 with wins over Oregon, BYU, and Oklahoma State with the latter of the two being on the road. Ranked 24. Kentucky is 7-2 with a 40 point loss and a loss to an unranked seton hall team and their best win is at home against UNC Greensboro. But they're ranked 19.

Kansas State being ranked still is a joke as well.

The key is they started higher, as in they were in the preseason poll. Houston wasn't. The "so called P5" bias has fully carried over to basketball.

Most of these AP voters don't have a clue about college basketball and pay it no attention. They just look at the name of the school and automatically assume. I agree Houston should be way higher. Probably pushing Top 15.
