Similar to last year with Perez, I'm hoping there's another surprise JC signing at guard, a definite area of need IMO.

Anyone know how many scholarships we have this year? From what i have been seeing on twitter it looks like this may be a small class.

It’s been veryyyyyy quiet on the recruiting front. Anyone have any news? So far it’s a small class.

I think we have depth there,but was very surprised of Perez recruitment and more so of how well he played this year. Love to get lucky with a JC skill and would like to get another HS Qb. We need to invest more at QB. I would like to poach WMU's QB recruit from Wheaton, Thorne.

Thorne has offers from Michigan State and North Carolina State. If he is poached it probably won't be to NIU.

Would be a nice get if McCray does come our way. He recently decommitted from Illinois. Then possibly get Love from Nazareth too and we could have some competition at the skill positions.

Yep McCray would be a great get. Early signing day is soon isn’t it?

Just by reading some stuff off Twitter looks like Tyrik Henderson is convincing Michael Love and Fabian McCray to stay home and go to NIU. If that’s the case, NIU would have a great recruiting class and instantly upgrade skill/playmaking positions.

Seems like a perfect THE HARD WAY type of kid, the one you offer a scholarship and he'd be a force on special teams, red zone rushing and pass blocking His blocks were some of the best highlights. His O-line was terrific, holes everywhere, which is why it might be hard to evaluate him. However, he didn't get caught from behind very often.
