Will The ACC, Bowl Reps & Network Screw Georgia Tech from Tier 1 Bowl?
Georgia Tech beat Miami, UVA and VT finished 5-3.... Second in the Coastal? Hall of Fame coach is retiring... Does the ACC place Georgia Tech in a Tier 2 Bowl??? Or do they send Georgia Tech to the Belk say against Auburn and sell out???

I am thinking how the ACC, Networks, Bowl Reps treat GT & CPJ retirement will be really telling...

What does the ACC have to do with it? At some point doesn’t it come down to the bowl reps choosing who they want?

Ga Tech went only 7-5 and got blown out in its final game. I’m sorry but if that’s your record you don’t get to make bowl demands. You just hope for the best.

So I should see Consistency with the last game losses and Blowouts... Strength of schedule does not matter???

SO Wake blew out Duke.... Wake should leapfrog... UVA, Pitt, BC and be in Tier 1... Pitt not only crapped the bed against Miami they forgot to show up last night and lost to Clemson... so two bad losses in the last two weeks they should also be in Tier II Bowls......

So I will shut up is we see Duke, Georgia Tech and Pitt fill the last three Bowl slots... However If it is GT to the Birmingham and Wake to Tampa... I am going to call your BS...Or the ACC & Networks BS.... we will see...

Shreveport is under 600 miles from ATL...a fairly easy drive.

The Belk Bowl looks set to pick Cavman. This confirms to me at least that despite being the second closest ACC tie-in to Atlanta .... they have absolutely ZERO interest in ever seeing GT play there. They've picked around GT several times. All the Belk Bowl ever wants from the ACC is a team from NC. If they can't get that they want Clemson or VT. If they can't get that they'll pick Cavman. They've never had to pick further than that.

If it is Birmingham, btw, and I were PJ ... I'd keep mashing the gas all game.

Also, if I were Todd Stansbury ... in some random future where the Belk Bowl is "forced" to choose GT because of nobody else available South of the Potomac ... I would decline the bid and play somewhere else.

Problem is that is the same date as COFH Basketball (GT VS UGAy) However this ACC bull**** in the way they are treating a retiring HOF coach is just.... ITWI

I heard it all depended on the Alamo Bowl and the BIG 12, but yeas last week if West Va was in the Camping....Cuse was the ACC Rep... Alamo took Iowa State...so West Va fell to Camping (West VA will Travel really Well) The issue was if it was Cuse vs Iowa (neither team travels well)

Hallcity....No Consistency..... Duke was ***** slapped by Wake during last game and they somehow end up in a higher slot... Your explanation about blown out is wrong!!!

@GTAthletics and @GeorgiaTechFB knows that they dropped the ball. Other teams and programs are tweeting out their bowl announcements and there is nothing but crickets from our administration. I don't blame Coach Paul Johnson for retiring from this crap.

Swofford and the ACC got tired of Paul calling them out for the crappy scheduling. This is payback pure and simple. Swofford a UNC guy right? The conference is a ******* joke.

All of the last minute ACC wrangling was related to NC State and the Gator Bowl.

It's been almost a decade since the ACC office screwed you out of the 2009 Title and it was always my impression that part of that was Radicavich telling them to kiss his ass.

Now you can add how they allowed a HOF Coach ....

GT Football: We finished 7-5, beat Miami, VT, UVA, finished 4th overall in the ACC, and we have an upstanding coach we're gonna send out with a BANG! Let's go Tier 1 Bowl Game!

ACC Commish & Selection Committee:payback pure and simple.....

Only 4 teams that finished behind GT got picked ahead, 3 they beat

Pecking Order:
Camping World: Cuse
Gator: NC State
Sun: Pitt
Belk: UVA+
Pinstripe: Miami+
Military: VaTech+
Indy: Duke+
Quick Lane: GT
First Responders: BC+
Birmingham: WF+

+finished behind GT

Is there a single ACC team that WANTS to play in the Detroit (Quick Lane) Bowl?
Anyone at all?

Then WHY is it even a bowl partner???
