Arkansas Pine-Bluff Game
Arkansas Pine-Bluff, I hope you hear the wind chime, and are prepared to have the surprise of your lives. The winds are blowing toward you, and you're about to walk right into the storm. The greatest basketball team in the world is coming to you. They will destroy you. This won't be like getting a sandwich or coffee.

This will be like nothing you've ever experienced. It will be a beating suffered by you that you will never recover from. I almost feel sorry for you, and I if I could offer a piece of advice, it would be to not play basketball.

But you're going to play, and you're going to lose. This is not what you thought it would be. You thought you could win. You thought wrong. And now, in the arena, Cincinnati will make you pay. Cincinnati will pound you. It will be the greatest pounding ever!

Prepare to get beaten. Prepare to get destroyed. Prepare to lose the basketball game to Cincinnati.

The road to the championship runs through Cincinnati. Cincinnati.

They employed a model that certain coaches have tried to emulate...inferior talent and a thin bench overmatched against unranked competition.

Take your payday and go home.

I don't give a flying f*ck about XU. I care about UC MBB and the fact that a bunch of brain-dead FB-only fans have driven a stake through the heart of what was once a perennial top 10 program DELIBERATELY. All because they thought FB was the golden goose, so screw MBB because we are now "a FB school".

Your ilk chased a stupid dream and destroyed the one revenue sport that UC has had historical success with. This will sink in when CLF leaves for a P5 and UC FB is left out in the cold again looking for a coach to helm the program until it shows a tiny bit of success, only to leave the program flat AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN.

You ain't gettin' into the P5...ever, and are now left holding the bag in perpetuity.

Just plain flat dumb as a box of rocks.

BS

You are an XU fan. I know you think everybody is fooled, but nobody is. You are the Emperor with No Clothes...you think you are clothed, but we see you as you really are. Nice try. Actually, that's not true. You are horrible at it.

Let's see...went to Kemper arena during the legendary 92 run to see them defeat Memphis for the 4th time in a single season. Saw Steve Sanders hit the winning shot against Minnesota to open the Shoe. Andre Tate...former coach of the C-State Surge is a personal friend of mine. Oh...he coached at Winton Woods last season and I got to see Bazely play for Moeller (in a game that Winton Woods lost). Saw UC beat Marquette to win the C-USA title when it was held in the Coliseum. I've personally written Bob Huggins on several occasions asking him to stay at UC.

He wrote me back. I still have the letter.

Went to see the Cats in Hawii when they lost to the Razorbacks in the Rainbow Classic.
Went to see the Cats beat UNLV in the Thomas and Mack when they had that Hispanic forward (can't recall his name at the moment).

Saw them beat UTEP (Coached by Haskins) in Kemper, and went to Dayton to see UTEP knock off Kansas in 92.

I remember when FB season tickets were a required purchase to see MBB in the Shoe..

I suffered through the Yates years in the Gardens.

Tarrance Gibson lived in the same apartment complex I lived in on Lowell back in '91. He's still in the area.

I was in the Coliseum when Joe Stiffend (another friend of mine--who now is on staff at UC in grounds and moving) hit the winning shot to beat XU (from the corner as I recall).

Was a UCAT until they drove Huggins out of town before he could bring in OJ Mayo and Walker (who I watched play for NCH).

Then NZ and her like-minded crazies came in and blew it all up...all because the AD at the time thought they could convert to FB as the primary revenue sport and screw MBB.

So I said screw them.

I went to see Bob coach at K-State out in Manhattan. I went to see him bring WVU to town at NKU.

Enjoyable games.

I love UC MBB

I hate Cronin

I hate NZ

and most of all, I hate FB centric fans who think they can build a foundation on a FB fantasy.

How do you like them apples?
