No it doesn't but it's good to have more "Jimmy's and Joe's". Not saying GW doesn't because I don't follow them but they haven't traditionally had talent and have traditionally been on a much lower level. Now, the other GW in DC has had some teams. This GW team almost beat Furman so they must be pretty good. And to think that we are talking about Furman being better than UNCW is almost unthinkable either, but it sounds like they're really good.

If UNCW plays good defense and values the ball, they win. I can live with losing games IF the team does those 2 things but if they do those things, they will win most nights.

Referees absolutely cheating UNCW. I've never seen anything like this.

UNCW sucked. They were outworked and looked bad. Down 15 at the break after an 11-0 run by GW. They run their stuff way better. Our guys dribble too much and don't move without the ball. Terrible on both sides of the ball.

How come this team cant figure out how to play perimeter defense? I'm tired of ever other team's defense being so much better.

I know, I know. We're "just getting ready" for CAA play....

Coach must have said something because they are actually passing the ball now and looked like a college team for a possession. Some of these guys needs to sit down until they learn how to play the game as a team. And, if you don't play D, sit down.

Cacok should be on the floor. I don't care how many fouls he has.

Playing better now and this is how they should have started the game. They won't win the game but at least have learned a lesson hopefully. The extra dribbling was killing them.

Bill they started the game well up 11-5 it was the next 10-15 min stretch they got waxed

At least a lot of the new guys are playing nice minutes. And, seem to be buying in.

The guys at the end of the game played harder and deserved to play. Hawks cut it to 6 by playing better and harder. Good to see Ty G, Sims, Estime, Toews and Cylla doing some work.

He should write that about the Hawks because they looked like crap in the first half. It was awful on both ends. They shared the ball better in the 2nd half and defended better. That 3/4 1-3-1 zone looked pretty good. Sims looked good tonight to me. He hustled and played some defense and has plus length and athleticism. Estime plays hard too as does Ty G and Ty Taylor. That's the guys that are playing ball with their hearts.

I can't stand watching terrible Defensive teams. I used to get so mad watching Buzz's old teams. Hope something changes soon.

Glad I couldn’t watch this one. We’re looking like we’re going to be a sub 275 team with the loses we have and ways that we lose. Not much changing game to game. One step up, two steps back.

Can’t hardly bare to watch Devontae’s last season go down like this. Maybe they get something going by CAA play but all signs point to that not being likely.
