What happens if an unbeaten UCF is excluded again?
One of the realignment twitter accounts is posting again... Personally, I think this guy is full of **** but what happens if an unbeaten UCF is left out in the cold again. Can the AAC do anything?

I don't believe anything from that guys mouth. It's an absolute waste and will only cause the P5 to step further away from the G5.

I agree. Think he's a total joke. But, did get me thinking about whether or not there is any action the AAC could take if left out.

About all that UCF will be able to do is whine some more, beat their chest, and put up another phony banner.

Besides Ohio States win in 2014 which Maybe could be considered a pounding, the CFP national championship games have been great. Wouldn’t be surprised one bit to see Alabama lose or at least have a couple good games again this year.
Granted Alabama has dominated the championships but by no means has dominated the actual games.

2015 Alabama 45 Clemson 40

Haha, MHVer3. What a throwback. One of the original realignment trolls. I wonder what Moose is doing nowadays.

I still see a Moose post every few months on BCJ. Though most people ignore him now, there are still some people that thank him for his "insight," and have (what they believe) are intelligent conversations with him... before he has to catch his next flight to another important meeting.

Phony? The Cartel 5 and their media partner espn created this mess. They created a rigged system. Most of the Cartel 5 claim phony NC’s from their past. What’s wrong with ucf taking a page out of their playbook?

Nothing will happen.
Might consider using AntiTrust Laws. The NCAA was going to lose such a suit by The NIT but they solved that by buying the NIT.

What's wrong with it? They're doing it when a playoff system currently exists that right or wrong, they didn't participate in and win. I guess the Reds could also claim to be World Champs in the 1981 strike year because they had the overall best combined record but were kept out of the playoffs and it would be just as asinine.

RE: What happens if an unbeaten UCF is excluded again?
Two thoughts. First, I've spelled it out in detail before, but there is NO anti-trust remedy. None. It sounds good, which is why guys like Aresco or the Boise prez shout it, but it's merely a hollow soundbite to throw to the masses.
Second, the catalyst for a path to 8 and an auto G5 bid is not an undefeated UCF getting left out for a second year in a row; it's a Big Ten champ getting left out for the second year in a row. There's only one dick swinging on the college football landscape big enough to take on the SEC-ESPN-ACC troika, ant it ain't Aresco's. So root hard for Ohio State on Saturday, then root hard for them in[/size] their championship game and then root equally hard for them to get passed over for a second SEC team the next day.

Had no idea the NC games have been this close. I havent watched one since 2014, and likely won't until we get some fresh teams. The CFP has ruined a lot of my interest in College Football as a whole.

I just think the American should be working with the Mountain West to leave the MAC, Sun Belt, and C-USA behind. Maybe create a bowl pool together that includes thier top picks and couple of mid level power conference teams. Maybe they convince the power five to include them in a new post season middle that leaves the other three leagues on the outside.

Are you an anti trust lawyer? Could you repost your legal brief on this matter?
And it should not be if UCF is excluded but when, because their odds are between slim and none and Slim left town.
