RE: CAA (Non-UNCW) Non-Conference 2018 - 2019
Northeastern plays Davidson Sunday. Davidson was drubbed by Purdue.

Davidson hosts Northeastern 11/24 in one of those additional games that are part of the tournament so every team gets 4 games. Davidson and NE were on opposite sides of the bracket to reduce the chance they'd face each other twice.

Drexel upset La Salle 89-84

Also as far as the Charleston Classic I hear you. I do not have details but I am guessing it is not one that UNCW has submitted to play in. I do not know how they choose, but a team has to submit to play in it to be eligible.

Furman winning at #8 Villanova is an upset.

Drexel beating LaSalle is not.

Furman also got a win at Loyola Chicago and has a road game next month at LSU. They could be a team to watch

They beat NU last year in that non-bracketed PK 80 Tournament.

Not our best game, but 3 of our starters were injured and didn't play, FWIW.

Despite playing in the Big South Radford has been a solid program the past couple of years. They should win their conference again. Not a “bad” loss at all.

Drexel just defeated Boston University in their first home game against a DI opponent 86-67. Boston upset Northeastern earlier in the year, so thats another good win for Drexel after defeating La Salle.

That’s a solid OOC win for you guys. St Joe’s is the A-10 preseason #2.

Charleston got a solid win against Memphis in Orlando.
JMU dropped a game against Oral Roberts in Michigan and Drexel lost at Bowling Green. Towson did win against Loyola at home.

Overall the CAA is 23-33 against D1 competition

Drexel beating LaSalle is not.

Both are upsets. Magnitude of the upset is a different question. Fact is Drexel was an 11 point underdog in that game and won. That is an upset.

He only dropped 44 on us. 04-cheers

Imagine Pete Maravich. Did that every game, without a 3 point shot, for THREE YEARS!

Was he the best college basketball player of all time? Maybe 1a/1b/1c with David Thompson and Ralph Sampson? And Brett Blizzard of course. :)
