Huge win. Will do so much for our strength of schedule which should not be overlooked.

Offense had some smooth flow tonight. Defense made things tough for a bad shooting opponent. Exactly what we needed. Especially without our best defensive player!

Great contribution from Miller today. Green was solid, would like him to think about a layup once in a while :)

Virginia Tech next.

Alabama has loads of talent, but they’re undisciplined on offense and don’t shoot the 3 well. I thought that would play into our hands ... and it did.

Love the fact we led from start to finish. Shaq looked good in his first game.

VaTech will be a handful and they can make some 3’s too.

Looking forward to seeing the game.

You were right. Congratulations. You're 42nd in the RPI, and the CAA is sixth in the Conference RPI. You didn't have any points off turnovers, fast break points, or second chance points. I wish I could find out if a team has ever won by at least 16 with none of those. I'm going to tweet that at twitter.com/EvanJ3535 where I tweet rare event in many sports. Your website says you were 0-5 against the SEC before today, and including today half of your games against SEC teams were against Alabama.

It was the fewest points Alabama scored against a team not in the top six conferences since they lost 80-48 at Dayton on November 17, 2015. It was the fewest points Alabama scored against a team not in the top six conferences at home or a neutral site since they lost 53-50 hosting Tulane on December 30, 2012. I wonder which neutral site game against a CAA team Alabama liked better, losing by 16 today or losing 85-83 in triple overtime to Drexel on November 29, 2013 at Madison Square Garden. In that game, Alabama got a basket and a foul to go down 85-83 with 1:43 left. Including the free throw then, Alabama missed 3 field goals and 3 free throws after that. Alabama got fouled with 3 seconds left and missed two free throws (I'm assuming the second one missed intentionally). Alabama got the offensive rebound and missed a layup.

I think it will be a close game with less than 5 minutes left and can go either way at that point ...

We might come up a little short though...

It's always nice when it's official. I watched a livestream of him playing in a scrimmage at NHS last week and he looked great and got a ton of time.

Saw opening lines at around NU +5.5 to NU +6.5. shot up to 7.5 point dogs this morning.

I have a conference call this morning, will be watching with no sound until I can get off the call.

Let's do this!

VT defense pretty good. We are still getting some good looks from 3 and thankfully hitting the shots. But other than that our offense is committing bad turnovers and not getting it inside.

Down 23-18 at the under 8min break

We just aren't comfortable. VT defense is smothering an we don't have any answer. 12 turnovers in 16 minutes. This is pretty bad. Need to get the bigs involved. VT starting to pull away. 33-24 at the under 4.

It's not over, but it's basically over.

Up 24-23 with 7 minutes left in the half. VT ends the half on a 23-2 run.

Defense stopped playing. Our zone left VT open outside and they hit every shot. Inside we can't do anything. On offense it's bleak.

VT is good.

Defense complete trash this game. Hopefully we can rebound from this. We just lack intensity. It's like Alabama yesterday where nobody was getting excited. We are just going through the motions.

Again, we are better than this, but it's hard to watch today.

We get Davidson for the 3rd place game. Two games in a week against them. Big opportunity.

Wiz, I can see that happening. Davidson isn't the team they were last year. They lost a lot to graduation so this year 40% of their scoring comes from just two players. I just wish we had Sean healthy to put on Grady.

Yeah but Davidson has a winners mentality and they played extremely hard. They will be tough to beat.

I would much rather win tomorrow then trying to get one at their place.
