Of course as a just discharged US Army soldier who spent a month and a half living in a tent with no power or A/C while on deployment in Oman back in January and February he doesn't know as much about the situation as the leftist New York Times and our resident leftist military experts on here.

This is why we aren’t ready for WW3.

And not because the majority of our troops aren’t ready or brave enough to handle it.

1. Our support system at “home” is largely far more ignorant and incapable of understanding the realities of war and battle than even the Vietnam Era civilians.

2. Our media takes pleasure is using the “perceived plights” of troops as a political football. IMO, the media cares about the troops far less than our President.

3. We’ve allowed politicians o use the military as a social experiment testing ground and that has a direct affect on our ability to perform. Instead of training and performing we’re spending too much time teaching and adapting to “new norms” based on perceived social injustices.

My son spent one Christmas at home during his four year enlistment. When you sign the papers to join the military you do so understanding that your likely going to be away from home on the holidays.

This is weak even for you.

Sitting in squalor accomplishing nothing. Great use of funds. Party of fiscal responsibility lololol

For the record I've missed the last 3 Christmases from my family and 12 years of Thanksgivings due to work. Troops missing holidays is a bummer but part of the job. But when the 'job' they are doing is pointless and expensive...
