RE: CUSA Basketball Attendance
I think its crazy no schools in the West are above the average for the East.

FAU, FIU, UTSA, North Texas, Rice.....what the heck is up with your attendance? Is this normal?

North Texas is doing good right now so hopefully the attendance starts to pick up. I thought Rice was fun in the game I watched of theirs.

CUSA Basketball Attendance
We're counting exhibitions?

Edit- just realized my comment is really low effort compared to the post. That's a lot of work you've done. My general feedback is exhibitions definitely do not have the same draw as regular season games, so if you don't count them I know our number will increase as well as others. If you do count then I'm sure it will all even out in the end. Right now the sample is small. Nice work!

I didn't think Exhibitions counted but I don't know. I just pulled the numbers from the NCAA website.

Did it help any when it was held 3 years at UAB? Let me answer that for you....

only when UAB made it to the championship.

Looks like it does. Oh well. Navy is our only regular season home game so far and we had ~6300

I wasn't a fan of that location either. Was I advocating for Birmingham? Put it in Charlotte or Nashville.

RE: CUSA Basketball Attendance
We had a meh season last year and our game was a Sunday afternoon against Sam Houston State. And we are officially in finals week. I was surprised it had that much tbh. If we keep on doing well, the crowd will probably grow. Unfortunately we are approaching the Quarter, Thanksgiving, and Winter breaks which will likely keep the attendance low for the games against lesser known teams.

I'm guessing the NCAA messed up and counted your last game as a home game for some reason.

RE: CUSA Basketball Attendance
I just updated the post to correct ODU's attendance. Thanks for the heads up odu09.

We have some very respectable attendance in college basketball.

The lone North Texas game was an exhibition game against Angelo State a Division II school out of the Lone Star Conference.

Remember, North Texas had over 6,000 in attendance for our final game of last season. In our next game we will be playing A&M Commerce, another Lone Star Conference program. Although I believe our attendance will be higher for that game, due to winning the Rainbow Classic, I doubt it will be considerably higher. But if we continue to win, we should see very respectable attendance numbers for our conference games.

I guess S Miss did okay, considering we played Southeastern Baptist College. I'm unsure if this team is even DII.

We'll do better, but not sure if we'll avg above conf avg. Just glad to see us improving at something.

If the Charlotte team that beat Oklahoma State keeps showing up I expect their attendance to make a jump.

We should have some solid attendance when WKU, Marshall and La Tech come to Hattiesburg.

That was a fluke win, OSU went ice cold, and Charlotte had some home cooking along with a very lucky flagrant foul call with a few seconds left and a bank in 3 to win it. The series of events that led to that win may never be seen again.
