Wichita down 12 late in first half at home against Louisiana Tech. Yikes.

Could be a very rough year for them.

I still think Marshall makes them at least a NIT team this year, but they definitely lost a lot and didnt sds enough to replace with.

Duke looked really good in the 1st half. I went to bed to see they continued for the 2nd half as well. They'll be a tough out if they play like that all season.

He and Barrett both looked worlds better than everyone else on the court last night.

Duke is 100% legit. No hype at all for Barnett or Zion. Zion Williamson is so unique and IMO a once in a decade type of player. Insane athleticism combined will solid and growing basketball skills.

Memphis Tiger fan here, I come in peace.
I’ve always liked Mick Cronin. I think he gets the most out of his players.
Anyway, my question is how good do you guys expect your Bearcats to be this year?
Hopefully we (Memphis) will finally compete this season for the conference championship. We certainly will next season, but I’m hoping we can this year too.

Probably a bubble team. If we can't score it will be a long season.

good luck to you. Except when you play us.
I noticed you guys have some posters who don’t like Cronin. I always thought he was pretty good. Watching from afar obviously.

I’ve got to tell you. Cronin is the best thing since sliced bread if you were comparing or choosing between Mick and Josh Pastner. Pastner is the worst I’ve ever seen and I’ve been watch Tiger basketball for over 40 years. We had to endure 7 years of Pastner. He was worse than garbage. If I had to choose between Cronin or Pastner, I’d choose Cronin 8 days a week. Trust me, it can be worse than you believe you have it.

I will never forget watching the Memphis game at The Palace in Detroit a few years back in the first round of the tournament and seeing Pastner lay out like 20 play cards on the scorers table. After that, I understood what all of you were saying about him through the years.

I swear, I hate this conference. Our projected preseason champion just lost to Florida Atlantic. Also one of our regular top teams (SMU) lost to South. Miss. Meanwhile ood old dependable ECU squeaks past Lamar in OT. This is why our conference cant have nice things.

Yeah, the media folks who hate the P6 narrative are going to have a field day with the conference this year. Next year should be a lot better, but in the meantime we're going to be a punching bag.

I’m thankful it’s over. I couldn’t stand him. We’re happy now, that I can tell you.
