Getting close to the time to end the Mick Cronin experiment. Clearly can't get it done on a national level.

What do you mean showed a pulse? what does that mean? they didn't show ANYTHING. Or are you trying to insinuate by not getting blown out they somehow looked good? I hope Xavier beats us by 30. Mick needs to go. We need a Sean Mcvay type.

Ohio State sucks. 3 and 34 in scarlett and grey would start over anybody in red and black....don't get me started on all the offensive sets that got Ohio State big men layups in the first half. Just out-classed. On our home court. Embarrassing.

We have a very nice new facility. Time to get a coach who can fill it with fans to watch something other than a rock fight. UC fans got a nice hard kick to the gut to end last season thanks to some poor coaching and now we get to start the season with another. Lackluster recruiting, lackluster player development, and constant excuses. Time to move on.

I can't wait for Cronin's comments.

Why I laugh when Washington got yanked because he sucked at D but was joe smooth on offense last year.

No doubt Mick will have excuses that exonerate him. Same as it always was (queue Talking Heads music video). I bought in for season tix this year strictly because of the new arena. Massively disappointed with it and more of the same Mick ball = NFW next year.

I don't get the amount of negativity on this board. Cronin has coached 2 straight 30 wins seasons and we know this season will be rough early as guys get more playing time and learn to play together. I stopped reading this board because I was hoping to discuss how players are doing or have improved. Instead I just see a bunch of guys calling to fire a coach who has had back-to-back 30 win seasons.

Brooks had a good game, him and Scott combined for 15 points. Scott hit a 3 and looked comfortable doing so. The front court was not the problem for us. The problem was the back court. Cumberland was excellent once he started getting it going in the 2nd half. But the rest of the team combined for just 19 points. Cumberland outscored everyone but Brooks and Scott combined. And Cumberland didn't score a point in the first half. We need way more scoring from somebody. Broome had 5 points on 1-10 shooting, that is terrible.

As they get used to playing together the passing and ball movement should improve. Saw that more in the 2nd half as we had several times where a guard drives then finds Brooks/Scott for the dunk or easy lay-in.

Moore/Williams and Fredericks all were non-factors on offense. One of them needs to step up. Johnson played well and looks like he will quickly be getting playing time.

We play a number of easy games now. That should help with player and team development. I watched a team that is rough, but that also has a lot of potential. I think by conference play we will be a much better team then we saw tonight (especially in the first half).

I think this season could still be rescued, but I honestly wonder what it would take to put Mick on the hot seat. It'd have to be worse than just missing the NCAA.

Skyblade. I know you are Micks cousin, but you can stop the charade. Nysier Brooks is 6'11. and sucks. How is that possible? how do you miss a shot from 2 feet from the basket when you are 6'11?

I don't plan on watching many games after this debacle. But hey, I respect the optimism, even if you're completely wrong.
