Yeah. 13-0 run. Missing Murray in this setting. I still like what I’ve seen out of us. We have a chance to be really good before this season is over.

We have got to clean up the fouls. Stansbury usually prides himself on hitting more free throws than the other team shoots but we have really fouled a lot this game.

We're starting to look cooked.

Looks like we are getting mauled, this is where not having Murray is really hurting us, he would have added that extra toughness

I think we'll be much better when Beardon gets back, Anderson is too inexperienced at running the offense. Murray will obviously help too. Very young team going on the road to a top 25 team. We'll get better.

Nice win for both Tech and the conference against Wichita State. WKU looked strong against a top 25 team on the road for the first game of the season. I can see them being super tough come January when the conference season starts.

Washington is going to be a good team. Terrible first game for us to try and win. A senior laden team that every guy except pg had over a 7’ wingspan. They run Syracuse zone better then Syracuse does! Haha. They are going to be a very good team and we have a chance to as well just couldn’t hit our shots in second half. I like the makeup of this team, pressure was too big for freshman pg but he will be good in long run. This is the type of environment I’m glad we are playing in now.

4 more games tonight! 3 lower division and one Ohio Valley opponent. Let's keep racking up the dubs so it looks better when we beat up on each other.

Nice win Tech and looks like a valiant effort by WKU.

ODU was slow starting both halves but got the job done. We'll need some more offensive production from players not named Caver to win at St. Joe's. Defense looked as tough as ever. Played 12 different players with 8 notching double digit minutes. Great depth in this team with many different set ups possible.

I thought Nelson did well in place of Murray, to me this game showed we need a PG aka Bearden back...Too much dribbling around, would have liked to see Hollingsworth drive in more, he is so good at drawing fouls and or hitting that runner....NOthing against Ohmer but why did Ohmer playing the entire second half? OHmer did have a few good passes into Bassey but he is a liability on defense....THat made me scratch my head...

Watched first half of Western v Washington and thought Toppers looked purty dang good. Fell asleep and missed 2nd half. Major Kudos to la Tech for taking down the Shockers. And highlights of MT against a Div II opponent were promising. Looks like a Decent Start for CUSA overall. But, it's only game 1, so let's not get too excited yet.
