Good. Call me out if I’m wrong. Hide if I’m not. Isn’t that the way it works?

Shows ya how an excellent corch can fire up a program, a team, a student body and a city. (heck..even down here in the Panhandle you hear good stuff about UAB---but sorry FAU fans, nada about you still!)
I hope a decent USM team will show up and hold you under 50....and I wish you Good Luck in every game after our'n.
Go look at the join dates on the UAB posters in this thread. I only saw a couple that had less than say five years in, and that gets us back to a Garrick McGee team.
I know you guys are hurting. It looks like you're going to have a young QB make his first start against this UAB D. That will not be pretty. I have a ton of respect for USM, and as a long time UAB guy there are not many games that I'd rather win. I don't mean to sound overconfident, but this team is on a mission. We have reasons to be confident. It feels weird but I could get used to it.
A word of advise, don’t.

ITT: People who could not emotionally handle it if their team got shut down like ours did. You're welcome to prove me wrong if you want, if it's such an advantage.

You are not wrong, UAB was allow to oversign, waive transfer rules and delay academic requirements.
Obviously it has been a huge advantage for UAB because several head coaches have mentioned it publicly. It is not just some random fans on message boards bringing this stuff up, head coaches are publicly bring this up.
Just take the emotion out of this UAB fans and realize that there are legitimate arguments that these Head Coaches have mentioned publicly

What people forget about us, we were competitive in CUSA in the days of TCU, Cincinnati, Houston, Memphis, etc.. with facilities below junior high standards. Now we are seeing what our potential for success is on a level playing field (literally and figuratively). Let’s not forget this or mixed it up with our roster eligibility
