Toledo Week!
On to fun things. It is Tuck Foledo non-rival week!

I would start it off with the ESPN match-up page on the game: http://www.espn.com/college-football/gam.../401020777

Definitely a weak Toledo D against our slowly improving O and a good Toledo O against our strong D. I would think we would want to attack the Toledo D with our running game. That is where they are vulnerable (although their pass D does not seem much better) and that keeps their potent O off the field. I don’t know the status of their QB’s (Mitchell Guadagni) shoulder injury. Their back-up QB (Eli Peters) appears to be a drop-off, especially with 6 picks v. 11 TDs.

The ESPN predictor has it as basically a toss-up game, with NIU having a 50.7% chance of winning. I think that is a bit low but only a bit, and I see us opening as 1-3 points favorites with the home field advantage.

The forecast is partly cloudy with a high of 41 and a low of 28 and 10-20 mph winds – pretty typical, for what that is worth this far out.

GO HUSKIES; Tuck Foledo and get the W against our non-rival Toledo Rockets!

This game should always be on Saturday and I bet both schools would have great attendance.

Agreed. However, that ship has sailed and this game has become a staple of MACaction.

I find this year's game incredibly hard to handicap. No idea whats going to happen, nothing would surprise me in terms of outcome. I do think if I had to go one way or another, I think its a favorable matchup for Toledo based on strength vs strength and weakness vs weakness.

The MAC put our annual game against BGSU on black friday and we finally got that back to a Saturday, which has been a complete sell out at UT each time. I think the better MAC games should be on Saturdays and still have MACtion on weekdays. That being said, I would change UT and NIU to Saturday and be ok with the other ones we have.

If NIU is less than a 3 point home favorite against Toledo, that means the odds makers believe that Toledo is the better team!

I hate Toledo!!

For any student who watches this board, please tell your friends and go this game, a win against the Rockets almost clinches a berth in the MAC Championship!

Toledo RB Kobach has been getting more carries lately he's the back to concentrate on. Not worried about Thompkins or Seymour. Ference could again be key in keeping the ball away from D. Johnson.

Last time Toledo played BGSUX on Black Friday was in 2009.

Hard to do since NIU and Toledo are the alpha dogs of the conf the last 15 yrs and in the same division. They put the rivalry game late in the season when each is playing one of their 5 weekday games.

I couldn't find a link to the ratings for each game over the years. Or at least the top ones. I know NIU is in there a lot, sure Toledo is too. Guessing a EMU/CMU isn't garnering a big viewership. Why they have played 1-2 weekday games a year in the past.

Koback is probably going to al least double Kareem's Freshman Rushing TD mark.

Koback is probably going to al least double Kareem's Freshman Rushing TD mark.

2013: Kareem came in as a true frosh and stepped in without a loss in production for David Fluellen. 137 carries, 866 yards, 6.3 YPC, 6 TDs in 11 games.

2018: Koback as a redshirt frosh has 89 carries for 512 yards, 5.75 ypc, and 9 TDs through 8 games. He's extremely balanced while Hunt was a bruiser with surprising speed his first year.

It was posted today that Mitchell Guadagni "is downgraded to doubtful Wednesday vs No Illinois". So it sounds more like Peters, but we know these injury report deals. I am sure we are preparing for both.
