Because the head coach is in charge of scheduling from what I know. It should be Ian.

I disagree. Coach should be in charge of schedule. He is most in touch with his team and its capabilities. However, playing regular season games against lower division teams is unacceptable. Those should only be preseason games.

I've looked at a lot of scheduling from other schools, even big time "Blue Blood" programs play some non D1 schools. I was asking the same questions about UNA when their schedule came out, so I started looking at others.

RE: 2018-19 Basketball Seasons
I am okay with the coach making the schedule but the AD needs to step in and say no to non-Division I schools. The top programs can get away with it because they have loyal fans who show up for anyone. We aren't there yet.

Lipscomb will be hard to beat this year, they basically return everyone. FGCU may be down a bit, but Jacksonville and North Florida will be tough.

We return a lot of team that was seconds away from the Tourney last year. I think we will be top three easy.

Plus the addition of quality freshmen and redshirts from last year. We are coming Lipscomb, we are coming for the championship 02-13-banana

RE: 2018-19 Basketball Seasons
Season starts tonight. Anything less than a 25 point win will be a letdown for me.

The halftime score had me very nervous but we really took it to another level in the second half.

RE: 2018-19 Basketball Seasons
I knew I wouldn’t be able to watch the game live since I don’t pay for ESPN+. But I was counting on the replay being available on WatchESPN. This isn’t the case. Guess I won’t be seeing quite a number of our games this season.

Most of the games will be on ESPN+. I do not expect to see any on ESPN3 this year. If you want to watch the team and you don't live in the Central Virginia area, you'll need an ESPN+ subscription.

It’s a good thing we can follow up that competitive University of Maine at Kent State game up with a tough matchup against Trevecca Nazarene tomorrow.

I was thinking the same thing. Surely there are Division I schools we could easily beat, right?
