We play Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday and if I'm not mistaken Marshall plays West Virginia Wesleyan this week as well. What is with CUSA and the Methodists?

I would give you a detailed account of Marshall's game but some ODUer would just down play it again , so @$^ it. Some ODUers on here think ODU is gods gift to CUSA basketball, when you haven't done jack crap but win a defunct tournament that had 1/2 the field it was suppose to have.

Instead we won 83-65 and forced 24 turnovers, 18 by steal. Wanna know who we played look it up.

The fact you went out of your way to start something that hadn't yet been started is funny to me. Its exhibition games. No one cares who anyone played as long as they win and showed improvement. Only the regular season does it mean a damn.

No, instead we will just make fun of you for posting this garbage. Funny to see the salt is still there after an entire offseason. I can't fathom the raging internet boner you're gonna have if Marshall can manage to win one against ODU this year.

Also, we played against a D3 Wesleyan team. So our stats are pretty meaningless too. It's just exhibitions.

If Rice is a last place conference team, we might be having our best conference affiliation since we joined the WAC 16 (which I believe IIRC featured a Final Four Utah team with Keith Van Horn and that point guard who was in the NBA forever). Our class of newcomers is pretty good and will be fun to watch.

But we were pretty lethargic at times too, so 11th or 12th place might be our limit this season. The key is to hold onto the recruits for a change.

Geez man did some ODU fan piss in your gravy this morning? These are exhibition games and no one besides the fanbases of the playing teams gives a ****.

In my preseason poll (which is obviously full of meaning and should be taken extremely seriously) I put Rice 11th ahead of FAU, MT, and Charlotte.

Tech won 103-58 against someone called Union. Rotated a lot of guys in and out from start to finish. Duruji has fantastic height when jumping/extending his arms. Anyone played/ familiar with someone called the Union Bulldogs? Idk them. It seemed they had a pretty good 3 point shooter, at one point after halftime I remember looking at the stats and they were over 50%, that dude caught on fire after the first 10 min or so.

Would their mascot be The Snake?

I hear they are on the rise.

I'm excited for the real games to get started. Until conference play I will be rooting for all of our conference mates. We need to win some OOC games this year and go get that 2nd bid.

4 years and counting and your school still hasn't done JACK Friggin Crap. Your football team sucks, your football recruiting as been in the bottom 3 the last 4 years. You've yet to do 1 positive thing except win a defunct tourney that they couldn't even fill.

Your basketball team in the last 2 years have failed to have more than 1 shooter on the floor at anytime and is coached by an idiot that couldn't put two offensive plays back to back. ODU tries to beat their opnt down and win a 1 point game in the 50s.

Hell Marshall went 5-32 in ex. last night from 3 and still had 83 points and 56 of that came in the paint. That's because we always have 4 and sometimes 5 legit shooters on the floor.

HerdZoned has slapped ODU with FACTS! I hate to-but must agree-- ODU has not lived up to expectations as a C-USA member--yet.The problem is we keep saying "yet". Still cheering for ODU in OOC games!

For our part, we in Monarch nation are quite proud to be affiliated with both Marshall and WKU.

We regret that we are such a disappointment to some of your presumably opioid-dependent posters.

RE: CUSA Basketball Exhibitions It starts 11/1/28
I love to hate the ‘Narchs. But.... I hate to love ‘em. I can’t say anything because ODU does lead the series with us and historically are a very successful program. ODU will be back sooner than later IMHO.

Football.... Again, my opinion, but Bobby Boy has got to move on. The FBS game, generally speaking, is over his head. Either that or he’s getting beaten like a drum in recruiting. I just don’t know what the problem is there. It seem ODU peaked in 2016 and then started back sliding. Hope you get it turned around guys! 04-cheers

Why would I do that I don't care who they played and in reality don't care a rats azz about Marshall. So rant on all you want, just makes you look silly.
