That'll definitely be the mindset for most of ODU fans (edit - those who don't already have season tickets/VCU game tickets). I fully expect to see a wall of gold people as I enter the building 03-banghead

You'll smell them before you see them.

Any streaming options for the Exhibition Game tomorrow night for us out-of-towners?

Well, they definitely won't sell out with the current strategy. Looks like single game tickets for that one, on a Wednesday after work, are almost triple the price of every other game. $60+ fees if I want to take my son to the game and not even club level! And whoever is selling their tix on stubhub for $300 a pop is out of their mind. Guess I'll hold off for now and get them from someone outside the Ted on game night. If we are still undefeated I might pay the $60+. When did ODU start charging different prices for the various single games?

With the combo of Wednesday night and higher prices just how many FecesU alums can make it? I mean just how many pizza delivery & Uber drivers can the city of Richmond afford to be without?

I'm not certain exactly when, but I do remember 2 seasons ago I did notice that at least the VCU game was at a higher price point.

ODU has been adjusting specific single game tickets for a very long time.

It must only apply online? Aside from the multi game deals, it has been a very long time since I've bought tickets online. Price at the box office has been the same for all games.

I'm definitely going to this game, but I'm not ready to concede that I need to pay $70 to do so. Even with the 3-game deal (VCU, JMU, W&M) it is $120. Last year I bought a 3-game deal for WKU/MTSU/UAB for $60 total. My gut says this is a mistake that could result in too many empty seats, but I guess that isn't what I'm getting paid to determine.

RE: 2018-2019 MBB Schedule
We have an interesting OOC scheduling anomaly. Might have already been mentioned. Northern Iowa is in the opposite bracket from us in the Paradise Jam. We could play them on Nov 19th the 3rd day of the tournament. Then turn around and play them at the Ted on Nov 23.

UVA won't play us, but we do have 3 common opponents with them. William & Larry, FecesU, and Marshall. Both ODU & UVA play them at home. Marshall is UVA's last OOC game on New Year's Eve and 3 days later they come into the Ted in the first conference game for both schools.

WKU/MTSU/UAB ain't VCU. If we're playing well up to that point, I think we have good attendance.

True...and, in regards to attendance, I hope your right about playing well/attendance. On an aside, I would like to see ODU/WKU become a more heated rivalry. Of the teams within conference, I'd love to see the top teams get heated.

Harry says what we're all thinking in this one where he makes the case for moving the conference tournament to on-campus sites;

RE: 2018-2019 MBB Schedule
Hindsight is always 20-20 but we did not schedule good enough this year. I think if we had VCU's OOC schedule with the same record as they have at this point which is certainly doable. We could be in the at large conversation. Stop scheduling the Fairfields and Morgan States of the world. And when are we going to realize that playing W&M and JMU dont do anything for us.

I get the counter argument is that there is no way we could have known that teams like St. Joes and UNI would be as bad as they are but even if they were good I dont think it would change much. We need to schedule better and take more buy games. We need to give ourselves more road win opportunities against good teams. It doenst really hurt you if you lose a couple. But it doesnt help you at all to get wins agains sub 300 teams.

Our schedule would have been fine had we not choked away the Oregon State game. We would have had 2 more top 50 opportunities instead of 200+ games. Those preseason tournaments are important for these bids. We used to perform much better in them. Kind of tough when half your team is new every year and not yet gelling. That's the disadvantage of losing key players as both to graduating (Brandan Stith, Haynes) and as outgoing transfers (Porter, Hueitt) and relying on incoming transfers to fill the void.
