We have no offense guys. We are playing a Freshman. Our QB that we were waiting on, big time local star tore his ACL in April. So we get about 100 yards a game. Only way we win is if you turn it over 7 times and 5 are returned for TDs. This should be a blowout. I say you win by 30
We do have some fans traveling. But you won't see our normal support due to... internal issues right now. A lot of our most passionate fans are in "take a break from the games and cool down" mode. Our student support org, which normally goes to every away game, will now be passing on away games the rest of the year.
I should add that it's not the wins-losses column (Roadrunner fans expected to have roughly 3 W at this point and are understanding of that), it's that we've run a completely inept offense under two different OCs in two years with apparent micromanagement from Coach Wilson.
Sorry for the news. I think you'll find that many UTSA fans respect UAB and are excited to have you back around. It's not y'all, it's just poor timing.
UTSA will need to either find their ground game or continue to settle in our freshman QB (both are possible) for this game to result in something other than a UAB 3TD win.

On paper, UTSA offense is gonna have some trouble.
UTSA is #98 in passing yards allowed
UAB is #104 in passing offense
UTSA is #117 in passing offense
UAB is #5 in passing yards allowed
UTSA is #35 in rushing defense
UAB is #17 in rushing offense
UTSA is #125 in rushing offense
UAB is #26 in rushing defense
I think we will play it close to the vest and do just enough to win. I won't be shocked if we don't even cover. I have great respect for UTSA. Any UTSA fans stop by the BlazerTalk tailgate and say hi and share a beer.

We actually have the worst offense in all of FBS. Hopefully JoJo Weeks can change that but can't expect too much from a freshman

Thanks for the kind words but this one is a gimme for UAB. UTSA is just too young/injured to pose a threat to UAB on the road.

And, well, let's be real. San Antonio is one hell of a long way from Birmingham.
You guys have as much potential as anyone in this conference, and I hope you guys will pull it together (just not today). A good UTSA is good for CUSA.
