I'm happy with the call to go for two, just not the gimmicky fake field goal.

PS. Rainbow over Dix Stadium! Brighter days ahead!

Wait.....it was a fake PAT? I just saw a clip on twitter and it looked like a muffed hold/snap.

Definitely not a fake. Horrendous snap.

You’ll never, and I mean NEVER convince me there isn’t an ancient indian buriel ground under that stadium.

We lined up like we might go for 2. Then moved into PAT formation. If we were going to kick the PAT, why F around shuffling the line, holder and kicker? Just kick the damn ball and play another overtime period.

We do that on every PAT. Not sure the point of it, but that's not why the snap was bad.

One of us wins the Mega Millions, lets build a new stadium.

Personally, I would love to see a dome for football and basketball.

I've decided that, if I ever win the MegaMillions, I'm going to be a money mark for an independent wrestling federation.

I'm also going to buy a boat.

I would gladly pay for a dome for football if I won the mega millions. I would also buy a retractable dome for the baseball team too.

After attending games at Dix for 49 years I have to wonder the same thing - I think I have witnessed some of the wildest weather events possible. I hope we turn this thing around soon - I can't expect to wait another 40 years for a bowl game.

I'm NOT saying that this year's team is worse than last year's, but the cliché is "You are what your record says you are." Last year at this point we were 2-6. This year the record is 1-7. I didn't expect a 180 degrees turnaround, but I thought (hoped?) that the improvement would be more than it has so far. I won't use the word "disappointed" because, as someone who has followed Kent State football since my freshman year in 1963, I'm way too jaded to be disappointed anymore, at least in football.

This team is light years ahead of last years team. Records be damned. This team can move the football and score. We are better coached and have better talent. It obviously doesn't show in the record, but it usually takes at least until the 2nd year to see the results show in the record. We have all waited a long time, what's giving Lewis another year to see who and what this team really is?

By the way, I would have gone for the two point conversion. Kent State was the underdog, slightly. They had no chance of a division title or a bowl game. It is always best for the underdog to "shorten" a game, not lengthen it. I was disappointed when they didn't do that in the 2012 title game. But that's just me.

+1 light years indeed. I am so full of hope for the program. Lewis even said at one point that 2nd half of 2019 for the results to show if I remember. I'll say it again very similar to Hazell years except Hazell had much more to work with than Lewis in first year

Oh, I definitely agree that this team is a lot better than last year's. I stated as much above. I wouldn't go so far as to say "light years", though. I would go with the more modest "significant improvement in several aspects of the game". No doubt that even should they finish 1-11, Lewis will be around as long as he wants to be, as long as they continue to improve each year, even if only incrementally. I'm confident that Lewis will make them a major contender for division championships, at least. It's just that it looks like it will take somewhat longer than I once (naively?) hoped.

After reading/watching how the WKU-ODU game ended I feel better for the way our game ended.
