This is the second game in a row I'll have to miss live, but I decided to start a game thread anyway. Looks like the UT-BG game thread seemed to start late, so I thought I'd start this now even though I won't be giving my widely read updates.

Hope this isn't out of line, but I have a a request. I'd appreciate it if the score could be posted more often than it was during the BG game. I suppose what I do trying to keep up with each play is overkill and probably isn't necessary, but I read through the Rockets-Falcons game thread (after I knew the final score) and I think the score was posted 2, maybe 3 times. For those of us (well, OK, me) who sometimes can't listen to or watch the game but can check in occasionally during the game and want to do it here instead of relying on live stats, finding out how the game is going can be tough.

You might could try downloading the ESPN app and using the stat tracker...

Can you do the ESPN+ trial subscription? I am doing it again this week with a different email address and credit card than I used against Fresno, and I seem to be ready to go with the game under the new ID.

Was looking forward to going to this game since it is the closest venue to where I live. But I woke up on Monday with the start of a cold and it has progressively gotten worse all week - so I'm under flu protocol this week and have to sit it out.... Substituting Airborne for Bud Light as part of the sacrifice....

looks like the very attractive female referee is doing this game. Hopefully does a better job as the head referee with the calls. Well - just made our second defensive offside in less than a minute into the game

Wow does our D suck...

Defense once again leaves a huge gaping hole on the left side of the Oline. EMU takes it down inside the 10 to the 5.

QB with a delay up the middle for a touchdown by EMU. 2"05 into the game and we are down 7-0.

Anybody still thinking this DC doesn't need to go? 2 offside penalties and let EMU march down the field like a hot knife through soft butter for a score. Then it looks like we get hit with a personal foul on the extra point. couldn't tell because the feed from ESPN+ is horrid. And they want people to pay for this?

espn+ may be the worst ever. Can't stream any video for more than 5 seconds at a time right now.

But that is compensated with low quality video at the same time. Let's see if it gets better as time goes on...

Ive got a cold as well Moto. Sucks. Currently in Chicopee, MA for the next week or so.

4 penalties in under 3 minutes, a wasted TO and a D that doesn't seem to be on the same field as EMU.

False start. Well disciplined team. 3 penalties for offsides or false start 2 minutes into the game. Honest to God, do we really want this coaching staff to return? That is poor coaching. HS coaches do a better job of teaching discipline.

Punt down to the EMU 28 or 29. And another penalty on Toledo for kick interference for 15 yards. Refs really out to make sure this is not a UT win. 4 penalties for 25 yards and we are 3:45 into the game. EMU - no penalties.
