RE: Utah whopping Arizona
Utah has looked like Alabama the last two weeks and we were one play from beating them.

If we really were that competitive against Utah, as opposed to Utah just overlooking us, we should have no problem with Ohio.
We really need a top performance today. Get this offense some confidence going into their bye and facing BYU playing their best ball. Let’s set up a strong Mac run starting today.

The defense took things to another level in that Utah game, no way you can keep that kind of energy and defense up for an extended period but they gave NIU every opportunity to win that game, and NIU should have won. Had NIU not completely neglected one side of the ball, Huskies win that game. I just hope the lesson from this year for Rod Carey will be offense does matter.

Carey is so stubborn and a “show me” first guy. I think the moment Childers and this offense produces big plays, he will only then open things up.

I think its the exact opposite, I think Childers would absolutely break through if Carey showed faith in the players he puts on the field and ran an offense that could average more than 4 yards a pass play. It is no coincidence that QBs regress under Carey, no coincidence at all

It’s a chicken or the egg thing. Childers gets limited opportunities to shine. But when he’s gotten them he has missed. If you’re saying he needs more opportunities, I agree. But he has failed and failed badly on the few chances he’s had.
