Buzz is there because the Hornets are in town. I can guarantee he's not talking to Jimmy Bass in any pictures.

It looks like he's also a little more buff also (though certainly not bulky by any means).

Last year he didn't look like he was in good shape to me at all - not just getting up and down the court, but like he hadn't spent much time in the weight room at all. If you can get quality minutes out of a 7 footer in the CAA it would certainly move the needle in a really nice way this year.

I am more concerned about his hands. Just like some bigs we've had in the past, Kalina's hands were not very strong at all. He had a number of rebounds snatched from his grasp, along with mishandled passes due to the weakness of his hands. In comparison, when Cacok gets his hands on a ball, nobody is going to take it away from him. Granted, Cacok arguably has the strongest hands of any player we've ever had. But I'm hoping they have done something to get Kalina's hands much stronger. He also needs to go stronger after rebounds and loose balls, instead of standing flat-footed and just reaching for it. He already has a nice shooters touch.
