You know, it just blows my mind that VT fans just figured we would be soooo afraid of the big boys and just roll over with our tail between our legs. We weren't overly competitive last year, but we do have some talent. We were at home, which makes a big difference. I am so glad we proved them wrong...
Now, let's prove to ECU we have some talent and give them another L this season. We already owe them one.

They lost their piece of the state to NCA&T, who lost it to Morgan State. UNC would have given their land to ECU, but they lost in week 1 to Cal. Our next chance to gain land may not be until we play North Texas. But if they keep winning, it could be a lot of land.

Exactly. For instance, we could take UABs land if Charlotte beats them, WKU beats Charlotte and we beat WKU.

The lighting affects our turf substantially. Good light - it looks OK on TV. Bad light and it looks awful. Won't be an issue next season!

I think what wood selig said during an interview made sense. There were funds to replace it before this season but with construction to begin after the season it made more sense to leave it on and get more value out of it and get rid of it once the construction is complete on both east and west stands which will save some effort put towards saving it while construction is going on and will also look good with the new stadium, score board, led ribbons etc. Except for the South(which is only 9 yrs old) and north endzones everything else will be pretty much new.

I don’t know about the rest of Monarch Nation, but I’m still high off this win. The memories just keeping looping through my mind. Beating ECU will just bump the high.

My hope is that the team realizes what they are capable of and gets right back out there and proves they are for real. I am hoping that last week's team shows up and not whoever those other guys were in the first three games. GO MONARCHS!
