i suppose the rape scene in deliverance was to humble the unadulterated masculinity? i never understood why it had to be a backwoods rape. yeah, capsizing on a strainer is probably thought to be forthcoming, so, rape? also stereotypical and the only part of the film a stranger will tell you about. why, it's on his t shirt
