This game makes me nervous for many reasons.

1. I have no idea which NIU Team we will see

2. It will reveal wether we will be a force in the MAC or suck this year.

3. Will our offense step up in play making and play calling?

4. Will we get over the Central Michigan hump. They’ve whooped us pretty good over the last 3 years.

5. Will Childers play like an experienced D1 Quarterback?

I have no questions or concerns about our defense.

I think our defense will play well but we need to lean on our run game. We already know what kind of QB Childers is. He's simply not a 1-A level QB but we're stuck with him anyway because Carey refuses to bench him. But the only MAC teams that maybe look as bad as CMU are Miami and WMU so beating a winless team doesn't necessarily mean much.

NIU wins today. Have the better D and special teams. CMU is not like they have been the last couple seasons and could be the worst team in the West imo.

Troy 24-13 over Nebraska lat in the 4th. LOL.

Our run game will dominate and we will find a semblance of a passing game. Just wish there were more NIU fans here at the game.
