That success seems like to me 10 years ago......At least WKU fans had zero expectations entering this season except for a WKU blog who were saying we were going to win 8 games, I called them out on Twitter for that nonsense....ODU fans were acting like they were goin 12-0 this preseason so they should be really disappointed....I expected WKU to win 2 games this season with one being Maine, now I expect to go 0-12, anything else would be a surprise to me...

The way WKU players were celebrating/smack talking in the first quarter makes that loss look especially bad. I remember one play where a WKU linebacker hit #8 on Maine and stood over him while trash talking. He ran right through your defense after that.

Inexplicably, you've got an undefeated LA Tech --the only team to beat a Sunbelt team this year, I think-- ranked evenly with USM, who LOST to the Sunbelt's ULM last Saturday, and FIU who is 1-1, and barely beat ODU, arguably one of CUSA's worst 2 teams in 2018. WTF are you thinking?

Well at least Western fans can point to Nov and say there's ....basketball. To be honest I'm probably alone in saying I would gladly take a 2 loss football season and top 25 over a NIT F4 basketball season.

A few years ago you would find me watching 3 basketball games at a time and recording 3 others to watch (parts of) later . So that's a change in me. I expect it to switch back after 2018, 2019 and most likely 2020. By then all the fun will be sucked from football.
