That is a lot of rain coming, will mess with a number of our games too. Running games and defenses is what travels during this type of weather.

Wouldn't cry if our game with Clemson is cancelled. Would give us 3 weeks to heal up and get ready for Ark State.

Yeah I’m kinda hoping they do. Would be nice to have no injuries and 3 weeks to prep for conference play

I just saw a graphic stating that all hurricanes since 1851 that were located where Florence is right now have always turned north into the Atlantic and have never hit the Georgia/Carolina coasts.

Take that for what it's worth.

Id imagine that CCU might miss out on a game with Campbell too.

I think Coastal will do what it takes to get that game in. It could be the difference in bowl eligibility for them.

We should always root for out of conference wins. It does wonders for how the rest of the division perceives the Sunbelt. I have faith in Troy, and don't think Nebraska is that good. Tulsa is just an average American team, and StAte has a good chance to upset them.

Nebraska lost their starting QB in the last minutes of their game with Colorado. The backup transferred before the season started, so the guy that ended the game (could not get the game winning TD) is essentially their 3rd string QB, and he is a walk-on. We have a chance if we can continue to shore up the defense. We need to find a pass rush and get our DBs in a position to make plays. I think special teams and run defense will be very good. Offense should have some decent yardage as well in Barker's 3rd game.

Also saw where Boise rolled up a school record 818 (over 400 yards rushing and passing each) last night. Troy's defense has a lot of work to do, but a lot of what happened can be credited to a veteran Boise team.

Yeah, right after we come off probably the three most physically grueling games on our schedule.

I think I'd rather you guys play.

This is probably the most critical game for AState in OOC Play in a long time. Simply put, I am not sure we can afford to lose this game, or the attendance for UNLV might take us back to the dark days of AState football when one could count the fans on the other side of the stadium.

Just announced GS/Clemson will be on ESPN2 at 3:30
