SEMO (1-1) trailed 21-20 early in the fourth quarter before scoring the final 20 points. Daniel Santacaterina threw two of his three touchdown passes in the final quarter, including a 73-yard pitch-and-run to Zack Smith.

A senior, Terry had his career-best day on 16 carries, accounting for all but 10 of SEMO’s 212 yards on the ground. Santacaterina threw for 264 yards on 20-for-30 passing, and Smith caught five balls for 122 yards.

Jack Cook threw for 281 yards with a touchdown for Dayton (1-1), which lost despite having an edge in total yards (495-481) and first downs (25-19).

Santa stays healthy he will have a very good year. He's capable of making most types of throws.

When you transfer to an FCS(1AA) there is no sitout rule. Same as if your a Graduate transfer. SEMO is FCS.

Yep.

We watched him play against SIU (on TV) and he looked good. I am still pissed off beyond words that he was driven off & we are stuck with who we are stuck with.

Santa made a decision because he was upset about being benched. I highly doubt he was told you will never start. We've all faced adversity and it's how we respond that matters. In my opinion, Santa could've earned back the starting job. This is what happened to Chandler Harnish and we know the outcome.

I'm convinced that he would not have been able to earn back his spot. Not without curling up in a fetal position sucking his thumb so he wouldn't make a turnover. And I don't think he can play that way, he's a gunslinger.

Great for Santa and Tuke. All for them but they aren't going up against Iowa,. Utah, FSU and so on.

Santa had a rough game against EKU Saturday. He was 15-of-32, 159 yards, 1 TD and 4 picks.

SEMO dropped 70 on Tenn Tech and Santa had 395 yards passing and 4 tds.

Yeah addict (any others claiming they know more than Rod) the guy NIU is stuck with was selected the MAC Freshman of the Year by league coaches in 2017. So I suppose all you griping geniuses know more than all the MAC coaches combined too.
