Creighton is now 6th all-time in coaching wins at EMU with 17 wins. (he passed Jeff "Keep throwing the dang ball" Genyk). 3 more wins and he ties Rasnick for 5th all-time.

Maybe I missed it (or as they say, maybe I didn't) but do we have an update on Mike Glass?
Was his lower body injury minor?

Got home late last night, but was able to listen to the game on WEMU online. Congrats on a nice win.

Steve, i believe in one of cc interviews he said Glass was ok. I'm more worried about our D-LINE health. Maybe ETough could provide some insight on them and Hoying??

I was sitting behind the team. The only player I saw that did not return was Eddington, who had ice on his calf. I may have missed something though.

In one of the post-game celebration videos, it looked like Hoying was in a sling. He didn't dress, so it would seem his injury is more serious.

RE: Game Day: @Purdue
One thought about the changing face of college FB. I'm happy for two EMU players:
1). Wiegers made a great, great decision to come to EMU. He had the misfortune of sitting behind future NFL QBs. Most players make one choice, to sign with School X and stay until their eligibility has been exhausted. Wiegers had several decisions to make (Stay/Go and If go, where).
2). The preferred walk-on program works. Banham, Ryland, etc. I assume Ryland goes on scholarship next year, maybe even in January. The B1G PR machine likes to use the expression 'Big Stage." Well both Banham and Ryland went from walk-ons to stars on the Big Stage yesterday... (Applause).

Excellent post. Agree 100%. Ryland came up big. Yes it was a chip shot but man, it was so much more. Kudos to the snapper, holder, and kicker. That kick absolutely 100% had to be made or else maybe this team feels snakebit from all those close losses from last season. Banham looks like the glue of this offense. Damn I have grown to appreciate his clutch, steady play. What an inspirational guy too. And is it me or does Wiegers remind you of one...Tom Brady in terms of size, stature, coolness, accuracy and "limited mobility?"
Don't want to get too far ahead of myself, but is there anyone on EMU's schedule that this team can't beat if they play their game? No. The answer is no. There are going to be some really tight games in conference but we have Toledo and NIU at home...Ball State is going to be a battle on the road. Out of conference, I think we're gonna get San Diego State.
I also give it up to #92 out there. Maxx has an unrelenting motor that rubs off on his teammates.

No sling for Hoying, he'll be back sooner than later I'd think. Eddington took a cheap shot below the knee and a Purdue OLineman got called for a 15 yard penalty on it. Looked like a knee, but he actually had his lower leg/calf wrapped in ice when he walked back out. He already had his entire hand wrapped in a club from a finger injury last week. Tough kid.
I believe Glass is minor, may have rolled an ankle. Not sure about other DLine injuries. LaBarbara went down briefly, but got right up and walked off on his own power.
Hunter Andrews in rotation now got the fumble recovery. CJ Hunt the freshman getting quite a few reps which is nice to see. Turan Rush in the DE rotation with Holford, but no reps for Simeon at this point.
Obviously too many rush yards given up..........need to tighten that up. I think we put more focus on #4 and their pass game, and limiting the big pass yardage, which opened up the run lanes a little more........which was by design.
Not going to nitpick after limiting Purdue to 19 points at home!!!!
Our guys were flying around and playing really hard to the whistle which resulted in the fumbles that were crucial to the win.
Great job overall.

I am all for getting Glass some action in real time games. It would appear that we will have a QB next year with decent game time experience.

Glass III reminds me of a very good QB from last year, Quinton Flowers (South Florida) but due to lack of size he'll have a limited upside/ceiling. I want to see what Grissom can do. Athletically, he looks like he could some great things in the MAC.

Agree 100% and it seems the staff see's the same. Wiegers is the guy, and will obviously see the bulk of the snaps, but Glass may very well get a couple series +/- to bring a different look, gain experience, and make our opponents spend extra time preparing for both.
Grissom may get to throw a few passes if we have any blowouts going forward, but think he is primarily a curve ball.....read option......red zone threat as a 3rd look for opposing DC's.
Great to have Wiegers great start, with other legitimate options.

Not really 'insider'. I'm just summarizing what anyone else can see that is actually at the game/games, for those that aren't/can't be there.
The other DT that went down was the other new Juco, Marqualin Scott, who actually looked the worst because he couldn't put any weight on his leg as he was helped off the field.

I saw Scott come out of the tent and walk around. I think he re-entered
