San Jose State transfer Terrell Brown who spent his sophomore year at City College of San Francisco is enrolled at New Mexico State.
He averaged 7 points per game as a freshman at San Jose State.
He averaged 16 points per game as a sophomore at CCSF while shooting 50% from the field and 47% from 3.
He is ranked as the #39 rated JUCO recruit for the 2018 recruiting class.
NMSU has signed 3 top 40 JUCO recruits. NMSU loading up for another WAC Championship run. Also have D-1 transfers JoJo Zamora (Utah), and C.J Bobbitt (Denver) joining the squad as well.

It's amazing that nobody has ever mentioned any of this information before now. Thanks for sharing.

Am I detecting a hint of sarcasm? What is kind of cool is Terrell Brown, Damari Milstead, and Oscar Frayer are not strangers; playing on the same high school team. There should be a friendly rivalry.

Earlier on this thread, I posted this Redhawk video of Coach Hayford discussing his new 2018-19 spring signees.
According to Hayford on the video, Joe Wall is closer to 6'9 or 6'10 now.
Good, good. I hadn't seen that video, I was gone for the last month.
Jesuit HS is a good program but with no D1 or D2 offers, Wall definitely is a walk on project. Adds depth and height in the post if he sees the court at all.
Hayford seems to really like walk ons, especially ones on academic scholarship. Was able to get Ian Burke who had an Air Force offer to SU on academic scholarship

With the loss of Aaron Menzies, Josh Hearlihy, and Scott Ulaneo, Seattle really doesn't have any experienced height returning. But they did restock the post with four new guys... 6' 9 Myles Carter, 6'10 Anand Hundal, 6'9 Jacob Eyman, and 6'9 Joe Wall. I think Seattle's success really depends on the new guys ability to score and defend the post. I see Matej Kavas playing more power forward this season; with a more wide open 4 out 1 in offense.

No question. Kavas will be a stretch 4 much like Hayford used his PF at EWU. It's why Ulaneo didn't work out, he had no mid/outside game and a 4 needs that with Hayford. Even the 5, but Menzies was too good not to utilize to his strengths. It'll be up to Carter, who had the pedigree to go to a contending Big East school out of HS (10 offers, 6 high major + Memphis), but never played his one season and then had issues to be kicked off the team. We will see what he can do.

Gotta get those guys to keep the GPA up. Lots of schools do this. Hayford is a great coach.
According to VerbalCommits, it looks like NMSU received a late verbal commitment from 6'4 Combo Guard Junub Char Chuol from Omaha Neb. He is listed as a 3-star prospect by multiple recruiting sites and he had offers from UMass, St. Louis, and VCU. I am not sure if he is playing or redshirting this upcoming season. Currently, the rest of the 2018-19 Aggie team is in Spain for a summer basketball tour.
It looks like GCU receive a good 2019 commit today... Jovan Blacksher Jr., a 6'1 point guard from Shadow Mountain HS in Phoenix AZ. He is listed as a 4-star prospect by ESPN. Apparently, GCU beat out Pacific, Fresno State, Boise State, Colorado State, and Washington State for his services.

How are they getting verbal commits from kids without having one from a head coach? Hats off to whoever is still out there grinding and getting kids to sign. Must be an almost impossible task.
Well, now that Chicago State has a new head coach, he has his work cut out from him assembling a team. According to VerbalCommits, Darrell Riley Jr. (who was committed to Chicago State prior) is now committed to Detroit. We will see what Irvin can bring to Chicago State on such short notice... with only a few weeks before the start of school.

Big commit. GCU will be tournament material in years to come

You trying to rile up the Aggie base, or what?
Naw. Good for you guys! AJ Harris was a 4 star/5 star guard across the board and top 100 ESPN Mcdonalds All-American candidate out of high school so no biggie. However, word is Mohamad Thiam our humble 2 star recruit is NBA good, some saying better than Siakam so...…….

Man, wouldn't that be great?! Paskal was so much fun to watch, even if it was only for 2 seasons.
