RE: 2018-19 Men's Basketball Schedule
Mercer is. It the Mercer of old either. I also dot have a problem with a trip to Huntsville. Wish we would trade Troy for USA. I hear we will play USA next season tarting h & h

I recall the trip to JSU. What a fun road game. We took the gym over and even had a pre game Blazer walk

I do wish we would say no to SWAC schools not in the state.

As usual the away games are good, but the home schedule sucks...

Some of you guys would find fault no matter who they scheduled. There at least three top 25 teams on he schedule and possibly another, depending on the final game of the tournament. Memphis, Auburn and FSU will probably all be ranked at some point in the season.

You won’t be happy though until we have an all top 25 schedule with Golden State as an exhibition game.

The Tigers play UAB on 12/8/18 - the same day the Lakers visit the Griz. It will be a crazy day at FedExForum. 04-rock

Yep. Home schedule is terrible. I know the challenges, but still.

I wish we would stop this trying to stay regional crap. I know costs are a factor but damn. That said I'll be there night in and night out.

Agree. Great highlights. Although I wish they'd swap out the Arkansas at Monticellos for Jax State or Samford. However I was told that coaches don't really like playing teams so close by for ego reasons.

We should play Samford home and home and rotate JSU, UNA, ASU, etc.

H&H USA and end troy series a while.

I will find fault until we get rid of 18 swac and non d1 schools. Mercer is the type of team we should be after. UNA, New Orleans, West Alabama, Alabama A&M, Alcorn State, and Arkansas whatever the hell that are not. I understand filling out the home schedule and all that, but i refuse to believe we can’t schedule decent mid majors home and home instead of 6 garbage games.

I'd even be okay with yearly home and home setups with JSU and UNA. Harper has done a great job (they've been KenPom ~150 both years), and I'm much higher on UNA's current staff than others seem to be. I don't know if it's Ehsan or Harper or Padgett that isn't in favor of setting up a series or what, but I was told it wasn't likely to happen.

New Orleans was not that bad of a team last year. But whatever. Gripe on.

The schedule sucks... nothing different than previous years. Attendance reflects such, but those who chose to ignore it, have at it!

239.
Mercer was 174.
Better than the 300+ teams we play in conference

NOLA was a tournament team for 2017. Sure they were a 16 seed but victories over tournament teams is always nice. It was the only ego boost Auburn had for Pearl's first 3 seasons.

RE: 2018-19 Men's Basketball Schedule
Our guys play MTSU twice in 4 days ? One player being out for a week could hamper either side greatly. And now with the new schedule, we could conceivably play them 4 times ? 2 as our travel partner, once more in the last group, then again in the CUSA shitshow - conference tourney ?

Heck maybe even a 5th time in the NIT ?
