Everyone has always had more talent then us in the big east...We still did pretty good regardless. Randy is extremely good at make something out of nothing. So i think you will be surprised by our team this year.

Define "pretty good". You were 22-26 in the BE conference under Edsall with two winning seasons in 7 years. I don't get deal with folks thinking Edsall is a good coach, the guy is a career 46% winner and has an overall 37-56 record against his conference foes.

I'm fine with fact most people think we're not going to be good because I think that too. I think we'll be lucky to win 4 or 5 games this year, although I do believe we are turning the corner slowly. However, the thought that we are not going to win a conference game and will be worse than Cincy & UConn baffles me. We were one of the worst 5 teams in the country last year and we beat one by 28 and the other we dropped 41 AT their place.

i meant like 8-5 and up....(obviously for a football school that isn't "pretty good"i but for us I consider that pretty good ) I was just being positive and most of those losing season were when we were new to the fbs..once edsall got the ball rolling it was smooth sailing for the most part. edsall is no saban. but he is good at player development. =also we have had more than two winning season. We had 5 or 6 under edsall while being in the big east... we only had 2 losing seasons while in the big east under edsall.

I was referring to conference records. Two 5-2 seasons.

Sure. If we go 14 years in the conference with 0 winning seasons, Temple's entire life span in the Big East, then feel free to kick us out.

Let me give you a little lesson on the outlook of Temple fans and Philly area people in general: we expect to be the underdog and we accept that our performance got us booted from the BE. Based on how we have not only come back but have had unprecedented football success, often at ECUs expense, since then, being booted was the impetus for our rebirth. Not necessarily a proud moment but one that changed our program for the better. Contrast with ECU who’s high point was being ranked #19 in 2014 until Temple knocked them out.
