Try reading the post again. You will eventually feel pretty stupid.
Yeah didn’t take time to read through why UNCC lost yet again - I’ll slow down and really take in the excuses and rationalization of losses going forward. I’m sure they’ll be many more opportunities...
You're still wrong. Didn't say anything about WHY we lost, just explaining that when 2 of 3 games go right to the wire (regardless if the same team wins both) its pretty obvious to MOST observers that there probably isnt much of a difference in the 2 teams.
So, what is the records of the 2 respective teams since Charlotte has joined FBS? That might be a better indication than the 3-0 record (and +41 point differential) ODU has against Charlotte.
We've not been a competitive team for the most part, not a single clear-minded Niner fan would state otherwise. Odds are this is Lambert's last rodeo and then we'll see happens once Hill gets his choice.

clt says you are incorrect. The UNC system has a campus in Charlotte, just like they do in Raleigh NC, and Boone NC.

At least they have a couple fans on here to try to build the internet version of the rivalry.

Give me a break ODU. Obviously, we were last in the east last year and ODU did beat us again. However, this idea that you and some other ODU posters keep pushing about Charlotte being soooo far below ODU is just crap. You beat us 6-0 last season in Norfolk and barely escaped (in come from behind fashion late in the 4th) the first time we played you in Norfolk. The only time in the 3 meetings that the game didn't go down to the wire was 2 years ago in Charlotte (oddly enough that was our best FBS team to date, when we went 3-5 in CUSA).
So ODU is not that much better because of your moral victories and the best Charlotte team to date lost 52-17 at home to ODU?
I can play that game too.our worst team only lost 6-0 at ODU.

My expectation is a 3-8 season for Charlotte this year. Our wins will be Fordham, App, and ODU, and new AD Hill will fire Lambert for not winning anything significant.

Don't be a D'bag you are not invited to the party but yes you were a far superior team than ODU that you played both times and no ODU fan is saying otherwise. Happy?
Appys should be used to not being invited to any CUSA parties by now.
I think this is a big year for Wilder and ODU, they have a ton of returning talent but disappointed last year. How hot will his seat get if they miss a bowl again? I'm not picking us but think we have a puncher's chance against them this year (two of the three games have been close). I do hope it's a more entertaining game than the one in Norfolk last year, that was brutal to watch.

Last year our best QB was a 17 year old true freshman. Let that sink in...... It was all because Bentley, a 3-4 star QB did not work out. To compound things, most of the defense was injured (especially secondary). We had lopsided losses, but no real loses were it was against teams we should have won.
Losses were: UNC, VT, FAU, @Marshall, WKY, @North Texas, and @MTSU.
I don't think the seat gets hot at all without a bowl game this year, but I don't think they win less than 6 games either. A loss to Charlotte would certainly change the outlook.

Reference: ODU Basketball staff
I think Bobby will be just fine even if he misses another bowl. There will be a group of fans unhappy with that decision, but he has rightfully earned some capital. He brought up arguably the most successful start up football program in history, and he has a bowl win 2 years ago. Having said all that, and as referenced above, our AD moves slow when it comes to moving on to the next coaching staff.
