Florida Atlantic adds a graduate transfer QB
Former Arkansas and SMU QB Rafe Peavey has officially joined the Owls and is immediately eligible to play - has 1 year of eligibility remaining. He did take some reps with the first team today. Some thought it was Driskel when he first showed up to practice because he was wearing his number (#16). Not much experience, but definitely a talented kid.

Indiana QB Nick Tronti, who transferred back in June, suffered a minor injury, but has to sit out this year due to NCAA transfer rules anyways.

We definitely have added some depth to our QB room:
RS JR De'Andre Johnson
RS FR Chris Robison
RS SR Rafe Peavey
RS FR Nick Tronti (sitting out)
FR Cordell Littlejohn (redshirting)

Now it's just a question of who starts.

I still think it is between Robison and Johnson

Robison winning the job would be the best outcome for y'all. Get 4 years out of him.

In my opinion, Robison is the most talented of FAU's QBs.

Definitely. It's just good we added the depth. Johnson could continue to struggle with blood clots like Chris Bosh or Robison hasn't matured enough yet. You just never know. Look at the QB situation last year.

Tronti was a Charlotte commit at one point and his HS coaches steered him towards Indiana because of "p5" but of course, that didn't work out for him.
