Your Favorite Football Newcomer?
Like the title says, which football newcomer are you most excited about? I went through and watched the highlights of who I could find and came away really pumped for Wes McCollum. Surprised at how well he's able to get over the top of the defense, just seemed like he could be a fun player to watch.

Wes' Highlights

One guy that I absolutely could not find was Jacob Greene. Does anyone know something about this kid? Greene's UAB Page. I couldn't find him on Hudl, looked at the MaxPreps rosters for every high school in Trussville, asked my friend in the area, basically exhausted everything I could and wasn't able to find anything on him. Did he not play in high school and just decide to play in college? The guy is 6'7, 385lbs, guessing he's got some great potential as an OG.

On offense Austin Watkins, Kingston Davis and Jerrion Street. On defense, Jalen Rayam, CD Daniels and Starling Thomas.

Kyle Greenwell. He just made our defense better by increasing the opposing teams drive length.

Not sure yet...but it will be the player who consistently catches a pass over the middle to ensure steady progress down the field...

Austin Watkins, no question about it. This dude is going to open up the passing game for us... amazing speed, smoking footwork, crisp routes.

Clever, but I totally agree! Our offense was pretty exciting in 2014 with him at the helm. I will always love those guys (Clements, Howard, Vinson) but the collective talent level is WAY higher this year.

Not so sure it's way higher. The 14 team had three NFL skill position players and an NFL left tackle. I will need to see it on the field before I go that far.

Kingston Davis from Prattville and Michigan, can't wait to see if he is as good as advertised. If he can run a 4.5, at that size-think he has a career, Don't tell Spencer and Noble. The guy should be good, he went to Michigan for a reason and it was not because he can't play. Love comp. Think Spencer will have something to say about it.

I totally forgot about JJ Nelson. Outside of him and Howard, who is the other NFL skill player?

I feel like 4/5 runs he has in the show he fumbles. Hopefully they have coached him up on that.

Found his stats at Independence. He rushed 20 times for 37 yards and had 2 fumbles. I don't think the coach there knew how to handle him, or knew how to handle his frustration of being buried on the depth chart. I'm much more confident in Coach Clark's ability to manage Davis.

He also left the team mid season. Didn’t seem to want to be at ICC at all. I’ve been paying attention long enough to remember when Harbaugh “poaching” KD from Prattville was a sign he was on his way to dominating recruiting in SEC country

Yea, we talked about it at the spring game. You have Spenser Brown pounding on you and then you bring in Davis.... We will have the ability to pound on people and when they stack the box go over the top.
