He has a point that police should be focusing on other things than running stings on strippers. Go after the club if they are a problem, but the strippers are just trying to make some money. That said, this is comedy gold for sure.

They are arresting people for that? I was assuming it was for having sex for money in the back, but if that's really all she did then either Columbus is the safest city in the country or they need to go do some real police work. That is a complete joke.

While I agree with you, if you don't want police arresting strippers for this, repeal the laws. That is the problem with over-legislation on kneejerk reactionism. Any and all laws can be enforced. Complaining about the police action or what else they should be doing with their time has no bearing on her being guilty for breaking the law. No different than a NJ cop harassing and carding people not causing any trouble on a beach. Undercover stings should be limited to white collar and violent crime, not this shite.

So then why are we arresting Stormy Daniels again...? I doubt people are openly shooting up in a strip club. I also doubt that small time dealers or users in a strip club is the most efficient way of tackling drug cells. I'm about to finish a great book, Dream Land, by Sam Quinones, that discusses how small time arrests with heroin and opioid dealers is actually pretty ineffective.

Tangent aside though... that wasn't the purpose of this bust.

What better time to assign more cops to the joint than when it's full. I'd bet it was more crowded than normal with Stormy there, perfect time to try and make a bust, especially if the establishment was under suspicion to begin with.

Personally I don't have a problem with a nice set in the face, but if the state law says "no touching" and the "dancer" decides to touch, what are the cops supposed to do?

If they ignored it, then the argument could easily been made that if it were any other "dancer" but Stormy, they'd have been busted.
