First I'll give my take on the conference stadiums I've been to...
Malone Stadium:
-Pros-
We all harp about the departments lack of steady revenue and small budget, but I really like what they have been able to do with what they have--particularly, turning their wide open endzone sections into fan terraces...
Also like the update to the turf they made a few seasons ago and paint job they did to the exterior of Malone definitely made the stadium pop a little bit
-CONS-
on the general admission side (opposite press box) there are these trailer suites they have situated inbetween the grandstands...
The times I've been and there has been a decent crowd onhand, I can't tell you how many times I've seen fans get told to sit down due to them blocking the view from these suites--on top of the nuisance of obstructed views, the overall design and placement of these "suites" seem quite cumbersome (not to mention the one right at midfield looks like it holds 5 people? 7? lol).
Pressbox is unbelievably high up but despite the incredible bird's eye view, Malone's Stadium is in need of some updates and renovations-it's particularly cramped and just needs more space to accommodate media, fans and other stuff housed upstairs
