Unfortunately, Kyle is not fast enough or as good defensively as he needs to be to be on an NBA roster.

I wouldn't count him out. The fact that he was able to be our starting center the past two seasons at 6'3" is nothing short of remarkable.

3,370,822 reasons he left school a year early. Wise decision.

Great for Jake, but quoting Einstein: All things are relative. Not only does California have the highest taxes in the country, the average home in San Fran sold for $1.5M last year. The average fair market rent is $3.1k/mo.

San Fran also has a poop problem:

Like someone else said, I hope he employs a good financial planner.

p.s. Nice that Jake can count on his 2019 Championship winning share to offset some of those costs.

I have a lot of family in the Silicon Valley / Mountain View area of California. He could live in or around Oakland and the 1.6M would be similar to living on 1M in Cincinnati adjusted for cost of living...not a bad setup for a 21 year old in the Bay 04-cheers

Quote:Summer Standouts, Day 2

Jacob Evans, Golden State Warriors

After missing the opener in Sacramento due to a toe injury, the Warriors’ first-round pick scored 13 points in the Warriors’ rout of the Kings. The 28th pick was 5-for-12 from the field (but just 1-for-5 from 3-point range). Evans also added five rebounds and two steals in the Warriors’ easy win.

I do, but no more than 40% of NBA hoopsters do. It will be interesting to see what Jake's next contract will be based on what opportunity he has with the Warriors to prove himself.

Sixty percent of NBA players file for bankruptcy in the five years after their retirement. Bad investments, misplaced trust, luxury purchases and child support can contribute to players’ financial collapse, said Foyle, who has authored a book on the subject.

Read more here: https://www.bnd.com/news/local/article10...rylink=cpy

Even though it wouldn't matter because one of the highest places to live in the USA is home to the NBA's super team, I'm surprised there has not been much push to do a COLA on the NBA's salary cap. I'd rather collect my Max contract in Indianapolis or OKC, than San Fran or New York.

Jacob Evans signed a 2 year / $3,370,822 contract with the Golden State Warriors, all guaranteed.

I guess its a good thing the Warriors don't play in San Fran

Thank you. It is amazing how smart, ignorant people think they are.

I don't consider myself that intelligent of an individual ... until I come to this board.

So because the team plays in San Francisco means he's forced to live in San Francisco and can't live in Oakland or anywhere else with lower COL? I knew California had some strict laws but damn.

Caupain dropped 20 today. Meanwhile Rodney Purvis went 0-7. Still don’t know why he got the call up last year over Troy.
