Regardless of how bad UCONN has been recently, they have never gone winless in conference play. I highly doubt it happens in 2018.

Right? I am pretty sure that UConn will win at least one of the following four games:

Cincinnati @ UConn
SMU @ UConn
UConn @ Tulsa
UConn @ ECU

Bank on it.

Two first team players from Memphis. Not too shabby.

That's absolutely mind-blowing. The Larry Porter years were only 7 years ago, when we went an entire series without the ability to even line up in a proper formation. I remember the refs looking around bewildered like... are we sure this is a college football team?

No big xii teams with multiple players. Did a g4 program get a player on the list?

No break down, just a mention, but USA today lists Memphis running back, Darrell Henderson, as top 15 in nation. Only top 10 got blurbs.

It may have been my imagination, but I think the refs had to actively straighten it out.

Memphis has turned the very improbable into reality by making the right hires.

RE: AAC Football News Thread
Not necessarily worthy of its own thread, so I thought I'd throw it here.

Voices of various AAC teams on Pirate Radio this week.

Voice of the Tigers: Dave Woloshin (Really liked this one. Dave's alright)

Color Analyst for Cougars radio network: Ted Pardee

Voice of the Knights: Marc Daniels

Voice of the Owls: Harry Donahue

Somebody from Tulane was on yesterday as well. I'll post whenever it gets put up on the site.

Enjoy...

that link didn't work for me, but i visited the football page anyway. and saw this article about announcing your 2018 recruiting class

https://navysports.com/news/2018/7/3/nav...class.aspx

when navy came on board the talk was that navy wanted to be in the west so they could visit texas, but it seems like visiting tennessee is more important. i noticed the tennessee flavor while watching the showtime program last season and it looks like it will continue with this class.
