I hope Stevie Williams is ready to perform if not we might have to find a backup real quick.

Looks like a great prospect!

Well if SW does well enough to cement his starting position his junior year, then this kid will red shirt (unless his talent is above and beyond SW when he arrives). That means he will have 3 years of eligibility, saying that SW plays until he's a senior. I'm not crowning anybody yet as both SW and Wolff are young and we are still waiting on SW's breakout year (hopefully it's this year), but we may be set at QB for a while if this plays out well.

He's a 2019 recruit.

I thought Shuler Bentley was a 4* at least on one of the rating services.......we all know how that turned out. I may be mistaken, not going to look it up, but if he was a 4* what does that say about the rating system

He is graduating early and enrolling in January.

Sorry, I should clarify. Not rated by the services, but rated in terms of BCS-scholly offers. Did "Mister Football" from South Carolina get any BCS-scholly offers?

Sounds like Hayden Wolff definitely did.

I saw it... low level 4* recruit. Although the 247 link below shows low 3*

247 rated him as a 4*. 247s composite rating, the average of all recruiting services, put him at a low 3*.

Same with Shane McCarley, who made Shuler Bentley's production look like Tom Brady. Glad we got the commit, but I'm in wait and see mode.

However Shuler Bentley had no P5 offers, nor did Taylor Heinicke.

Bentley had an offer from Cincy and chose to honor ODU commitment. We've had several others with P-5 offers. Williams likely would have had P-5 offers (if he didn't have any) if he would have shown any interest from schools that contacted him.

That is non sequitur.

The discussion is about quarterbacks. The quoted post was a response to Aim High's list of quarterbacks, and the "several others" comment followed an incorrect assertion that quarterback Bentley had gotten a P5 offer.
