Once names are known it shouldn't be to difficult to follow the money.

No, but consider the situation...

They're essentially telling Europe to pressure us or they will 'out' European leaders. European leaders can either pressure us, which likely makes it look like they took bribes, or they can support us and then make the claim that Iran can't be trusted and of course, demand proof of something that they know didn't happen.

unless it did

It's actually quite a prisoner's dilemma... so I'm not at all sure how this works well for Iran. If they actually took bribes, then Europeans have no choice but to pressure us, which makes it look like they took bribes.

Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Term limits would help..but..nothing can stop this type of schit. We are talking about criminals here...pure and simple.

A couple of problems with term limits...

1. The corrupt people we're trying to get out of office are the ones who need to approve term limits; effectively term'ing themselves out of office.

2. If a person knows they only have, for example, at most 2 terms in office; then they just might engage in corrupt backroom deals at an escalated pace.

It's kind of like gun control... it's not the gun committing the crime. It's the person using the gun.

The length of term that's engaging in corruption. It's the person we elected.

We can say what we want in the frame of reference of today, but our Founders had a different idea about how the American Experiment should go.

That depends on your perspective.

For me, I hope it's a promise.

For corrupt one-worlder politicians, it's a threat.

Here's one time I'm actually pulling for Iran to follow through.

it will be like the 4th of July

The threat was probably the reason John Kerry was meeting with them. There's nothing that can say...bad deal for America, if Iran, loves it so much, to name names on kick backs

^^^

That's exactly what I was thinking when I read the topic. They're cutting off their noses to spite their face. It's incredibly stupid for them to do that and I really don't know who they think it would hurt. Certainly not Trump who probably wishes along with every Republican that Iran does name names.

DO IT!

Who needs an A bomb, this is bigger than a bomb.

...if it's true. Now, the hard part will be to prove it, you know, like Muellers investigation.

And CNN isn't?

Just because they have a huge budget and run shows 24x7 does not mean they are trustworthy.

In fact, they've been shown to be ideologically biased.

The question isn't "do they say anything trustworthy". Rather, the question is "why should I trust what they say."

Yes, CNN is bad and somewhat partisan, but they have way more credibly than GP. It's not even close.

Tapper is middle of the road and their overall reporting is solid. You're basing your opinion on folks like Lemon and Cooper.

Just like you can't judge fox on just Hannity and Ingraham.

If I were Trump, I’d offer to reinstate portions of the deal in exchange for solid proof
