With the way this spring has been, I would make a trip to Louisiana last for 3 days to get a little warmth.

He spends an afternoon at Cincinnati and a full weekend with his whole family at LSU...not feeling very confident about this one.

Yeah, it obvious who's leading here...not sure where people are getting UC vibes at all from this process.

Perhaps from the fact that the articles I have seen from LSU have not hinted he might be a starter there, just "in the mix". It could be OSU all over again.

At UC, he would have family close by to watch him.

Baton Rouge is a great university town so how about an all expense paid trip for your whole family? A side trip to the French Quarter in New Orleans thrown in for good measure? Who wouldn't take that offer?

He may be LSU bound for all we know but the duration of the trip may have little to do with his final decision. My guess is Urban recommended he join Fickell and Burrow's folks would enjoy seeing him play in Cincy the next two seasons. The UC schedule is pretty exciting: UCLA, OSU, Navy, UCF, etc., during his eligibility too.

Not the SEC for sure, but that might work to his advantage if he could hang some big numbers in Cincy.

Ohhhhh.....he has two years of eligibility? Idk that I realized that. I thought he was a one and done.

That's great!

He’s got 117 followers. I wouldn’t trust him.

From Athens his mom will drive to CMH, CVG or Pitts and fly to Atlanta or Charlotte and change to flight to Baton Rouge then go backward. Or a 3 hour drive from Athens to UC. I used to do it in 2.5 hours but need radar detector as 32 has lots of cops.

Cincinnati was a day trip for he and his family. LSU was a plane flight and overnight stays on both sides of his campus visit. I wouldn't read too much into the length of the trip.

Anyone using the 3 days in Baton Rouge as a reason they are leading, it's a moot point.

He's going to make one visit to Baton Rouge, so they might as well get the best feeling they can.

He can visit UC again, now that he's back from Louisiana, if he so chooses.

Don't bring logic onto the internets.

We should all be panicking about the 117 follower guy making a big proclamation hoping he is correct to gain credibility while picking up followers in the process.

Plus I think he was on campus before when he was coming out of highschool. There's a chance he never visited LSU, therefore needed a little extra time to take it all in.

To add to that, like any college kid from Ohio, there is a reasonable chance he has friends at several of the state universities, including UC. So he may have been on campus other times visiting friends. UC is a day trip, so of course he's going to spend more time at LSU.

Just read an Ohio State blog, and listened to the Bucknuts Morning podcast out of curiosity. For what it's worth, they're each hearing he's leaning toward UC. I'm still not counting on it, but this is sure getting interesting.......

It's definitely a higher risk proposition dropping into the Sec with only 2 years to play and have to face those defenses week in and week out. A guy who hasn't played a lot of downs in div. 1 typically takes some time to adjust, and the curve will be steep in that league. Not that the Aac will be a cakewalk, but likely easier to adjust. Not sure what his competition is in Baton Rouge either.

Bolded, that's got to be a consideration. Stands to reason, any QB on that roster was likely to have been more highly rated than any of ours. So, on its face, it would seem easier to displace our starter than any at LSU.

We're all engaged in plausible speculation but who knows what is going on behind the curtain. Needless to say, Burrow could put the UC rebuild in overdrive.
