Trey got married a few weeks ago, so he will now have more free time outside of football, working for Mark Freeman instead of Clark.

Maybe he can help us recruit kids from Thompson too. Not a bad connection to have.

Freeman now has two former Blazers on his staff. Freeman is definitely a guy you want to be friends with when it comes to coaching and recruiting. What he has done at Thompson is nothing short of remarkable.

Mountain Brook basketball also seemed to find a way to make it to the top.

Yeah it’s been really remarkable how Freeman has been able to move kids in and subsequently coach them to football success.

Alabaster HS (Thompson) has apparently learned from UAB's experience that you must build state of the art facilities if you are serious about winning. When their planned new facilities are completed, they will compare favorably with the new facilities at UAB.

FYI, image of their new indoor practice facility that is almost done. Thompson has put a lot of money into their athletics recently with their whole new high school.

Along with such high schools as Auburn HS, there are several state high schools that have built or plan to build state of the art athletic facilities like those at Thompson. (Image did not come through on my computer)

BBF, it's an inclosed 40yd sport turf practice facility with a lower roof than UAB's pavilion. Looks nice for a high school facility.
